The sign at the top is Aries and at the bottom is Libra. these signs are fixed and the others rae in the counter-clockwise direstion. Thus, there is no need to write numbers inside when drawing this chart and instead the Lagna is normally marked with a " L " or " Lag " as in the south Indian Chart. try making your chart in this pattern and witing OM inside the central square, concentrate on the chart..perhaps you will see more..perhaps your intuition shall improve considerably. The sun is the significator of our eyes and gives us the ability to see. The next question is which Graha should be given the over-lordship of thistwelve-fold division or the twelve signs of the zodiac and why? Sri Krishna says: "I am the Surya (Sun), of all luminaries and the king of all men" I think the over-lordship is Surya because Surya is naisargika atmakaraka and thus he represent God in Solar system.
