Where does this leave us? > No additional members are indicated by the argala analysis and thus if we > consider the dasa rasi leo as the point for looking for subordinates, we get > only FOUR!!! Another point, where are you in this scheme? Thus, the dasa > rasi aspected by Mercury is showing your involvement. > It is evident from the above analysis that we cannot use the dasa rasi > for subordinates. try the fifth from Dasa Rasi(juniors/subordinates). ....or > the sixth (servants). (1) That is what I wanted to ask you when I saw Narayan's mail. But I waited for your response. Dasa sign represents self. As you say 5th and 6th represent followers and servants. But my question is: Why did you suggest the 5th from dasa rasi? Why not the 5th from the arudha of dasa rasi? Lagna reprsents true self and the 5th from lagna shows one's maturity etc. Shouldn't it be the 5th from *AL* (maya self) that shows followers?? Isn't the following one has and the number of sub-ordinates one has related to illusion than reality? (2) Are you saying that Moon, Mars, Saturn, Mercury and Jupiter (having wither an argala or a rasi aspect on Sg, 5th from Le) show five sub-ordinates? But argalas of Mercury, Saturn and Jupiter are obstructed. > Awaitng your response as you seem to be the only person interested in > learning this (I have not got any other attempts)...besides Narasimha of > course. Sanjay, actually I am also interested in learning this. There are 2 issues that bother me: (1) Narayan got these sub-ordinates in Cn antardasa and they continued in Le. Why are you looking at Le and not Cn? (2) What if one has 30 sub-ordinates?? We don't have 30 planets. What do you do in such cases? If there is no good answer, this question challenges the credibility of the whole approach (of looking at planets aspecting or causing argala). So I want to know what you do in such cases. * * * > OM KRISHNA GURU OM > Dear Narasimha and all, > Please do not stretch this. A potentiality is not a person. Planets > represent animate beings as they move around and signs represent inanimate > beings as they are still. Astakavarga shows the sphere of influence of one > planet in the affairs of another. Thus, the sun, by virtue of its placement > shall have a say in some specific affairs of Jupiter on the basis of the > bindoos of the sun in the AV of Jupiter. This cannot represent people, but > may represent the opinion of a person in certain affairs of another. > Opinions are whishes that later translate into beneficial vibes or malefic > vibes. hence the AV is vital to the directions of the kitchen etc in Vaastu. AV is used by some for directions in kitchen etc. But it is *also* used by some astrologers to predict the number of brothers etc. My points still stands. Bindus in AV are NOT inanimate signs. They represent animate planets. Each bindu in Sun's AV in the 5th from arudha lagna in D-10 represents an animate planet (person) conducive to one's authotity. Does such a person denote a sub-ordinate? Not necessarily. I agree. Your sishya, Narasimha
