Namaskar Narasimha -

 

Isn't Venus closer to Earth than Mercury? I guess planets in ascending

distance from the Sun are Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn

and this is the reason for having signs ruled by Mercury (and not Venus)

adjecent to Cancer and Leo.

 

So if Mercury is closer to Sun than Venus then Mercury should be further

away from Earth than Venus. Hence the planets in decreasing order of

distance from the earth would be:

Saturn, Jupiter, Mars, Sun, MERCURY, VENUS and Moon

 

Please correct me if I am wrong.
