Guest guest
OM Gurave Namah Namaskar Narasimha - Isn't Venus closer to Earth than Mercury? I guess planets in ascending distance from the Sun are Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn and this is the reason for having signs ruled by Mercury (and not Venus) adjecent to Cancer and Leo. So if Mercury is closer to Sun than Venus then Mercury should be further away from Earth than Venus. Hence the planets in decreasing order of distance from the earth would be: Saturn, Jupiter, Mars, Sun, MERCURY, VENUS and Moon Please correct me if I am wrong. thanks Hare Rama Krishna Manpreet > > If you arrange planets in the decreasing order of distance from the earth, > you get Saturn, Jupiter, Mars, Sun, Venus, Mercury and Moon. The same order > is used in kakshyas in ashtakavarga. > May Jupiter's light shine on us, > Narasimha > >
