Guest guest
[i am forwarding an old post in answer to Gauranga's query on varahamihira list. I am cc'ing to vedic astrology list.] Dear friends, Some of you who are members of GJList may have caught an exchange between Richard DiNucci and Sanjay on hora chart. Sanjay hasn't revealed the correct hora chart to be used for money matters, but he was kind enough to reveal in this exchange that Parivritti Dwaya hora is used " for timing health and family affairs " . He even said the results will be fabulous. I have so far avoided hora chart in my posts, but I will say a few words today, because Sanjay has finally broken his silence. * * * DEFINITION: PARIVRITTI DWAYA HORA CHART Planets and mathematical points (lagna, special lagnas etc) in the first 15 degrees of Aries go into Aries in this chart. Planets in the second 15 degrees of Aries go into Taurus. Planets in the first 15 degrees of Taurus go into Gemini. Planets in the second 15 degrees of Taurus go into Cancer. Planets in the first 15 degrees of Gemini go into Leo. Planets in the second 15 degrees of Gemini go into Virgo. Planets in the first 15 degrees of Cancer go into Libra. Planets in the second 15 degrees of Cancer go into Scorpio. And so on. When the zodiac is completed, we go around it again for a second cycle. This is why it is called " Paricritti Dwaya " (bicyclical) Hora chart. I will refer to it as " PD Hora " chart or " D-2 (PD) " . USE OF P.D. HORA CHART This chart is used for timing certain aspects of health and family affirs. Marital life of a native can be seen from D-9. Relations with siblings can be seen from D-3. Relations with children can be seen from D-7. But how do we see relations within the family and happiness or pressures from family affirs? These matters falls outside the jurisdiction of D-9, D-3, D-7 etc. In some cases, tensions in family can even ruin a native's health. All these matters are seen very well in " D-2 (PD) " . Narayana dasa works particularly well for timing events using this chart. This will be clarified further through examples in the next few weeks. Note: This chart should NOT be used for money matters as some people are attempting to do. For money matters, there is another version of hora chart. EXAMPLE 1 Who: Late N.T. Rama Rao (known as " NTR " , superstar and demigod of Telugu language films in India, very popular and worshipped for his portrayal of the mythological characters of Lord Rama and Lord Krishna, an egomaniac, a prominent national political leader and maverick, chief minister of AP state in India during 1980s and 1990s). Birthdata: 28th May 1923, 4:43 pm (IST), 81e00, 16n25. PD Hora chart: Lagna, Moon, Jupiter & Venus in Ta; Sun & Mercury in Ge; Mars in Le; Rahu & Ketu in Cp; Saturn in Pi. Event: During late 1994 and 1995, there was unbearable tension in his family. At an age of 71, he married a married woman, who unceremoniously divorced her husband to marry NTR. NTR returned as the chief minister of AP after the marriage and his new wife started to exert a lot of influence in government and party affairs. His sons and son-in-law(s?) were opposed to this. They told him to put her in her place and tell her to keep away from politics and governance. NTR didn't listen and this led to revolt in the family. Humiliated by her a few times, his son-in-law finally split his party with the help of his eldest son and some dissidents and they toppled NTR's government. Totally shocked by this betrayal (by his own son and son-in-law!), NTR fell sick and later died. (Note: His son-in-law has been the chief minister of AP since then.) All this happened in 1994-1995 timeframe. NTR finally died in early 1996. Explanation: Calculate D-2 Narayana dasa with " PD Hora chart " . In rasi chart, 2nd lord is Ketu (not Mars). He is in Cp in D-2 (PD). Dasa sequence normally is Cp, Sg, Sc, Li etc. Because of Ketu's presence in Cp, it is Cp, Aq, Pi, Ar, Ta etc here. Rahu & Ketu are stronger than Saturn & Mars (respectively). After one cycle of all the 12 dasas, second cycle of Cp dasa runs from 27th May 1994 to 27th May 1996. This was the dasa that rocked the peace in his family. Why is Cp dasa bad? Because Rahu and Ketu afflict Cp!! Also, 4th from dasa rasi is Aries and its lord is in 8th from dasa rasi, showing lack of domestic harmony (4th). Arudha lagna (taking dasa rasi Cp as lagna) is in a sign with 3 benefics, suggesting actions by the native that appear soft-natured. However, Rahu and Ketu in lagna suggest meanness in reality (lagna is the seat of truth and arudha lagna is the seat of illusion). Sixth from dasa rasi has Mercury in own house and Sun. This shows intelligent enemies in family. Gnati pada (arudha pada of 6th) has Saturn and so his enemies may come across as selfish people. In any case, gnati pada from Cp is in a sign with 44 ashtakavarga bindus and his enemies within the family won because of it. If gnatipada from any sign has 44 bindus, one has to be very very very careful with enemies during the dasa of that sign (enemies relating to the matter signified by the chart). Even if you cannot follow all this logic, just the presence of nodes in Cp is enough to suggest some trouble in family. Ketu owns 7th and Rahu owns 10th and the trouble may be due to weird and maverick (nodes) actions related to career (10th) and marriage (7th). Note: If you find D-9 Narayana dasa for the same period, you will find that NTR had happiness from wife. When he got married, he ran the dasa of 8th from upapada (arudha pada of 12th) and dasa of a Venusian sign containing upapada and 7th lord ran when he remained hen-pecked and invited the betrayal. May Jupiter's light shine on us, Narasimha PS: I will try to give more examples later. -------- Original Message 1 -------- Re: A Hora Experiment Sat, 10 Jul 1999 21:47:19 +0530 " Sanjay Rath " <srath " Sanjay Rath " <srath " Richard DiNucci " <rdinucci, " Narasimha Rao " <pvr CC: " GJList " <gjlist References: <000a01bec991$086302e0$91e544d1@p-6---400> Jaya Jagannath Dear Richard, No doubt that the attempt has been very good, but then as I indicated earlier, it is not perfect knowledge. Try to use the Parivritti Dwaya Hora for timing health and family affairs, and the results will be fabulous. Iranganti Rangacharya and other Jaimini Scholars use this to determine the Rajyoga and other effects of Hora on the body od the person. I am unaware of anybody using this PARIVRITTIDWAYA HORA to determine wealth. You will find the FOUR DIFFERENT METHODS of calculating the Hora Charts in my translation of the Upadesa Sutra of Maharishi Jaimini. These have different uses. As regards wealth, there is a specific chart, and this is only meant to be taught to the initiated as this knowledge does not really help the person to achieve the objective of spiritual growth. I have taught this to my three advanced students Ashok Kaushik, Narasimha & Dina-Nath Das. Hare Krishna, Sanjay Rath
