Dear Gurudeva,

 

Pranaam. Here is my attempt at answering the assignment. I am

a novice, Please bear with me and forgive my mistakes.

 

1. Physical Appearance

 

My Lagna is Libra - Medium height and build. Actually I was very

thin

untill two/three years ago (In my school days, reaching 50kg - in

coin

weighing machine - used to be my goal!). I am also condsidered short

(people used to call me 'Kulla' - " shorty " in Tamil). Pleasant face,

decent manners. dark brown eyes. good vision. still lot of hair left

on the head.

 

2. Personality

 

Librans are more of an idealists than practical human beings. Have a

heart for truth, and unflinching honesty. Identify easily with

miserable/lowly/deprived beings. (lagna Lord is Asura Guru?) Usualy

intelligent, but get's swayed emotionally in all directions (Libra

being a Moveable/Airy sign?). Dedicated learners, with extra interest

in Old and Traditional/Historical practices and knowledge (Krishna

says " Among the Wise, I am Sukracharya " ). Material ambitions and

aspirations for power and fame top the mind (Moon - significator of

mind, ruling 10th?). Willing to obey/follow rules, until personally

challenged - then everthing is topsy turvy. Would rather die than

compromise -- too much Ego? (Sukracharya is willing to stand/fight

against Gods themselves, knowing fully well that he is defending the

wrong side of the Dharma?). Very jovial and pleasing to everyone, as

long as they feel they are being respected, and given

atmost prominence.

 

3. Traits to be corrected

 

Too much anger, too soon and stays for too long. (The best benefic of

all, gets 3rd and 6th houses for Libra Lagna. Could that be the

reason?). Fail to see reason, when hurt and challenged. Not willing

to

accept defeat under any circumstances. Either I get 'Pradhama

Thamboola' and I make everyone around me happy or I am not there.

Very

high and un-attainable dreams. Excessive desires. Worrisome, anxious

and sulking to too low a depths, when even small things go wrong. Too

sensitive.

 

4. Professions

 

10th being Cancer lorded by Moon, and with Rasi (sign) dhrishti from

Taurus, Aquarious and Scorpio. Could be in marketing

(accounting/commerce), occult sciences, Engineering or Medicine. I

did

my Bachelors in Industrial Engineering and did my MS in Computer

science. And currently a software Engineer.

 

5. Business and Finances

 

As Lagna lord being Sukra - who rules market places and business and

material pursuits, finances should be above normal. Also 2nd and 11th

being scorpio and Leo, both fixed signs may aquire fixed assets. (Is

Businees seen from 3rd house also?)

 

I cannot complain on finances. I tried couple of business ventures,

but not very successful. Maybe Sukra Dasa (starting next year) should

improve business fortunes to some extent. Is 3rd and 9th seen for

Business?

 

6. Ideal Match

 

I do not know, how to see this. People having the same Moon signs or

their Moon in trines to native's Moon? Since placements of Planets

are

not to be considered for this excerise, I think Trines to Lagna i.e

Libra, Aquarious, Gemini lagna people may be ideal match.

 

7. Romance & Marriage

 

5th being Aquarious, and mystical sign, Emotional involvement and

Romance should be very natural for Librans. venus - significator for

wife (and other women?) being the Lagna lord, Girl friends will be a

plenty. Sign Dhrishti on AQ being that of Aries, Cancer, and Libra

(lagna) relationships will be fiery and passionate, sentimental and

voilent (?). Librans usually fall-in and out-of affairs easliy (both

Lagna and 7th are Rajasic, Moveable signs?).

 

Marriage may have problems as the 7th is ruled by Fiery Mars. (Not a

great friend of Venus?). But, should Aries (7th for Libra), A7, Venus

and UL, are well influenced with benefic placements and aspects, it

should be smooth.

 

8. Relationship and sex

 

Relationship maybe seen from 7th and sign aspects on it. 7th being

Aries and sign aspects are from Aquarious, Scorpio and Leo, people

with Fiery nature as well as deprived (AQ lorded by Saturn) and

miserable ones may become best of friends.

 

Kama Trines (3,7,11) being Fire signs, and 12th (pleasures in bed)

ruled by Mercury and Dwiswabava rasi Virgo, Fairly active sex life

maybe predicted

 

9. Domestic Environment

 

Domestic life may be harmonious, as the 4th (Cp) is owned by Saturn,

who is Yogakaraka, just by himself, for Libra ascendant. Generally

very earthly (non-assuming) atmosphere is liked by the Native (Saturn

ownership?).

 

10. Health

 

6th is a watery sign (Pieces), and so plegmatic conditions/diseases

may be present. As sign aspects from all other Dwiswabhava signs (Ge,

Vi and Sg) - may endup having all types of problems. I was not a very

healthy kid during my childhood. Had what is called 'Primary Complex'

- a kind of TB, I think. 100s of injections had to be taken, one

every

day for months together. very weak, and thin and pale in early days.

Skin irritants were also present. Health improved with age...

 

11. Hobbies

 

Reading. Watching TV that show Nature/Past History/Philosophies

etc...in a way anything connected with past, mysteries etc...Not sure

where to see this in the chart.

 

12. Moods

 

Fairly stable. Very easy to pull the plug. I imagine unnecessarily,

that people neglect me and do not give me enough respect and

importance. And I withdraw into a deep shell - will take days to come

out of it. (Is this Saturn, the 5th lord). Love moments when I have

all the time for myself, all alone, living in fantasy world. (Saturn

again?).

 

13. Fabrics

 

Not sure where to see this. I usually like, thick cotton or silk

('Pattu Dhothi') clothes.

 

14. Furniture choice

 

Do not know where to see this. I like victorian style, very

ornamental

but comfortable furniture. Prefer mirrors everwhere, on the Coffe

table, in cupboards, in the Cot etc...

 

15. Music

 

I like soft, soothing, dreamlike music. But, I do not know anything

in

music - tried learning Guitar for few months, not successful. I like

the beat of traditional Indian drums (The kind, they play on streets

for Durga functions ('Jathara'), death processions etc...). I guess I

grew up listening to them in my Village. Is this seen from 3rd house

or 5th house?

 

16. Safety/Daring

 

Librans may be very careful and not very daring people, as 3rd is

represented by 'Deva Guru' (Krishna says, " Of All Brahmans I am

Brihaspathi " ). But, to stand up for truth and righteousness, I guess

they won't think twice.

 

17. Herbs

 

I do not know how to see this.

 

18. Lucky Day

 

Lagna Lord's day - SukraVara may be lucky. Tuesdays, though I do not

specifically plan on doing, happen to be good for me. (is this

because, I was born on tuesday?)

 

19. Lucky Colors

 

Sukra's colur for Libra is Black. In addiiton, I also like lighter

shades of Green a lot.

 

20. Lucky Gems/stones/metal

 

Libra's Gemstone is Diamond. I never wore any. (I came close when I

got Navarathna ring - but then my Wife took it off, as she feared

that

was causing problems)

 

21. Lucky Numbers

 

Do not know how to see this.

 

22. Miscellaneous

 

I have a general tendency to follow/imbibe qualities of anyone I am

with. If I am with good people, I do/think all good things. And If I

am with bad people, I do and think all bad things. I don't know, if

this can be seen, with just signs alone.
