Sanjay's book on Jaimini Sutras gives the rules. His second book (COVA) gives very clear examples. If you want some online material, go to the following posts in the archives of vedic astrology list. They explain the calculations step-by-step and give examples of calculation and interpretation. (1) Drig Dasa Lesson & Example: Brendan Feely vedic astrology/2356.html By Narasimha Rao (2) Drig Dasa Example 2: Robert Koch vedic astrology/2369.html By Narasimha Rao (3) Re: Drig Dasa Lesson vedic astrology/2378.html By Narasimha Rao (4) Re: Drig Dasa Lesson & Example: Brendan Feely vedic astrology/2389.html By Narasimha Rao There are more posts relating to Drig dasa, but the above make the basics clear. * * * > I'm sorry but Iwon't be able to to Your list at once. > The mail that I get daily is already too much to handle. Plus, > I will travel in India for a month. So maybe after. I need time > to go through the mail, and please frogive me if I ask > questions like this, that were done there. But what you say > would be like merging Varahamihira into Vedic Astrology list. I > like the private mood of this list, and the amount of messages > is still handable. To each his own. Please frogive me once more > if I ask questions already discussed here or there. But answers > like yours also help, and I don't need to go through a heap of > letters. Thanks once more. I'm always grateful for Your help. (1) Please don't keep saying " your list " , " your list " . The vedic astrology list is also managed by SJVC with Sanjay's blessings. I started it and managed it, but it belongs to SJVC now and not to me. (2) No, what I said is NOT " like merging Varahamihira into Vedic Astrology list " . (3) If you cannot , you can still read the archives. (4) To compose the above list of references, I went to the archives (vedic astrology) and " search " ed for the keyword " Drig " . Please don't take this negatively, but you can also do this " search " . There is some material out there that can be helpful and I merely want people to *utilize* that material.
