I am sorry that you find what I wrote " illogical " . As I said originally, we are deviating from astrology. I made my point and you made yours. There is no need to brand what we don't understand or appreciate as " illogical " . Let us end this topic now. Let us get back to astrology. * * * Sanjay, regarding your Brahma Vidya post: Traditionally the 60 years in Saturn-Jupiter cycle are taken to be aligned with the lunar years. I was born 2 days before the lunar new year day in 1970 (i.e. towards the end of year Saumya). Are you talking about the same years? Are yugas and yugantaras aligned with these lunar years or with Saturn-Jupiter conjunctions? The date of start of Kali Yuga given traditionally happens to be a lunar new year day. Why are these years - which are aligned with lunar years - said to be based on Sani-Guru cycle? I can basically understand it, but Saturn-Jupiter motion is not really regular and Saturn-Jupiter conjunctions and Jupiter's motion in various rasis are not exactly aligned with lunar years. Please throw more light on this important topic. May Jupiter's light shine on us, Narasimha
