Hare Krishna prabhu Yasomatinandana dasa, and the rest of gurus and sishyas:

All glories to Srila Prabhupada.

All glories to Sri Sri Guru & Gauranga.

All glories to Sri Sri Radha-Krishna.

Please accept my humble obeisances.

Here are the answers... and some doubts.

R1. What the article says (page 2), is that Chandra and Surya rulers over

six rasis each, and specially in one, i.e. Karka and Simha. And from them

(the Maharaja and the Maharani), planets serves both of them.

Then, it could be said (i guess), that Chandra rules too the womanly

characteristics of the grahas, and Surya rules the manly characteristics.

It's interesting too, that for the bhoomandala (geocentric view) Surya and

Chandra has an elliptic and a more and less regular motion, but the rest of

the grahas has a diferent kind of motion, that is elliptic motion inside an

elliptic motion. It is a double movement that is looking from Bhoomi. So,

they have to have a double influence in the human affairs. Or, better say,

their influence in the human affairs could be seen in two different places.

So, it could be said that the planets has two kind of effects in humans: the

place where they are, and the elliptic motion that they follow from a

earthly point of view, reflected in the rasis.

Any way, are just mental conclusions, worthless.

R2. Grahas who are in Uttarayana: Chandra, Guru, Rahu, Sukra and Surya.

The rest, i.e. Budha, Kuja, Ketu and Shani, are in Dakshinayana.

QUESTION: What is the meaning and the use of the ayana of the planets? If we

were using the Tropical Zodiac, then the ayana, at least for Surya, is

important for some astrological things, since when Surya is travelling to

the North, it is consider the day of the devas (I have read that in a book

of Vastu Shastra), and when is travelling to the South, it is consider the

Night of the devas. But that is for the Tropical Zodiac. And I don't know if

it is the same for the other planets. I don't think so, but could be the

same. Depends of the orbit of them.

R3. Chandra is in Uttarayana, because she was in Vrishaba on May 13, 1975.

She will go to Dakshinayana on May 18, around 5am GMT.

R4. I think that there are the bhija mantras who represents the four kinds

of the division of Vishnu, explained in the slokas 13-15, first chapter of

the Brihat Parasara Hora Shastra, i.e. the three powers of Shri Shakti

(Sattvaguna), Bhoo Shakti (Rajoguna) and Neela Shakti (Tamoguna); and the

four kind of Vishnu who assumes the form of Aniruddha, Pradyumna and

Sankarshana with Sattva, Rajas and Tamoguna respectively. I arrive to this

conclussion based in the explanation of Lesson 2 about the four divissions

of the bha-cakra and the kendra rasis.

R5. I couldn't find any relation. Someone once told me that the relation of

the days was the distance of the orbits of the planets with the elliptic of

Bhoomi, because that is the distance that have to travel de yoguis to reach

them. Then, the closest was Surya, later Candra, and so on in the same order

of the weekdays. I try to verify with the inclination of the orbits and

their distance with respect of the elliptic, but couldn't find the relation

either. Maybe using the eccentricity, but I just have the eccentricity of

Chandra, and no from the other planets.

Anyway, I don't understan why in the lesson #3 says that Budha Dweepa is

closer to Bhoomandala that Sukra Dweepa; I guess that it is a mistake. If

not, please explain.

R6. The influence of the drisya rasis, I believe, together with the planets

that are posited in them, is that they have a mayor influence in the native,

that the adrisya rasis and the rest of the planets. I think that I read that

drisya rasis shows the external relation of the person, and the adrisya

rasis the internal feature. Persons who has more planets in drisya rasis are

less introverted that those who has more planets in adrisya rasis.

Thanks and Hare Krishna:

Luis.
