Guest guest
Dear Zavisa, I had to enter this discussion. Regarding interpretation. That is expected from a guru. To interpretate the scriptures to a disciple based on disciples stage. Without this he would hardly make progress. That is perfectly fine. I often see people speaking here about scriptures and puranas from the perspective of the groups they belong to. That is only expected. But my point is this: Some people seem to think that what they read in English in such unambiguous and clear terms must be written equally unambiguously and clearly in the Sanskrit original. That is not always the case. They will do well to remember it when quoting scriptures zealously and making points passionately.
