Dear Zavisa,

I had to enter this discussion.

Regarding interpretation. That is expected from a guru.

To interpretate

the scriptures to a disciple based on disciples stage.

Without this he

would hardly make progress.

That is perfectly fine. I often see people speaking here about scriptures

and puranas from the perspective of the groups they belong to. That is

only expected.

But my point is this: Some people seem to think that what they read

in English in such unambiguous and clear terms must be written equally

unambiguously and clearly in the Sanskrit original. That is not always

the case. They will do well to remember it when quoting scriptures zealously

and making points passionately.
