Dear Sanjay, thank you for inviting me to your class on Jyotish.

Since joining I have been reading all the messages and wondering

if it would be possible for me to understand all that you are talking

about without knowing your native Sanskrit. I am Irish and have no

background in this subject or the philosophy behind it. My hunger

for Jyotish was ignited on the 1st weekend of my Ketu (12th/GE)

dasha when I attended a Beginners class in London. Since then

I devote time every day to it and love it.

As the Arudha Lagna is something that I am presently researching

I was delighted to read the questions and also the replies except

for my big problem of not knowing the English meaning of some

of the words and phrases used. For example in your reply you

used the words Parakrama, Ahimsa, Valmiki. To me these words

could mean anything. Peoples names , states of being, etc!!

Therefore, I would be most grateful to you and the other particpants

if you would include the English word beside the Sanskrit term

when discussing a subject. I am aware that this puts extra work

on you but it would be such a blessing to me. You cant know how

frustrating it becomes reading through really valuable information

and missing the main point.

On your website also I have experienced the same problem and

have decided to leave it for now. There is so much to learn and only

a limited amount of time.

From the discussions I gather you are writing a new book, I would

love if it was a beginners guide with a really good dictionary. The

texts recommended I have, but you bring an deeper meaning to

each subject that you discuss and I would love to hear your basic

teaching on all these characters that have such a powerfull

influence on our lives and why. For me learning Jyotish is a

spiritual thing. The more I learn the more devotional my life has

become.

Thanks for listening and for making this opportunity available to me.

Le grá agus solas, (this is Gaelic, my native language meaning: with love and

light)

Mise le meas = Respectfully yours,

Pearl Finn
