Guest guest
Om Sri Rama Jai Jai Rama Om Namaste ... I am spending time on some of the techniques of Kalacharka and hope this is not a repeat of a previous discussion... this is a continuance from the last mail on Kalachakra Question 1 of 3. ( Again, I am reading Narashimi's May 19th 1998 paper and Sumeet Chugh's book Yogini & Kalacharka Dasa ( Sagar publications) Regarding Gatis or Jumps a dasa period can make: 1. Mandooki Gati - a " frog jump " from one sign to another, skipping over one. Example: Sava Nakshatra for Pusha, 4th Pada has the following Rasi sequence: 4,5,3,2,1,12,11,10,9 ^ the jump from the 5th to the 3rd = Mandooki 2. Markati Gati - a " monkey jump " backword to the previous sign. Example: Apasavya Nakshatra 1st Pada has the following Rasi sequence: 9,10,11,12,1,2,3,5,4 ^ the jump back to the 4th rasi qualifys as Marati ( is this correct?) 3. Simhavalokan Gati - a " lions stare " - trinal jump of a dasa Example: Sava Nakshatra for Pusha 2nd Pada has the following Rasi sequence: 11,10,9,1,2,3,4,5,6 ^ the jump from the 9th house to the first or 5 house jump = Simhavalokan Gati Questions: a. The Gatis are considered turning points in one's life... Question: does the type of Gati infer the influence e.g. positive, Negative or neutral? or what part of life ( Physical, spiritual, mental, etc) will be affected? b. How much more influence does the Gati have when it involves Deha or Jeeva Rasi? c. When you add Graha's to the equation of this disucssion how does it change the chemestry of what is going on? in other words, does the jumps by themselves have the strengh to cause change or when you add in the Graha's and thier Karaka influnces that are represented by them and the Rasi's they lord is that where the influence comes from? d. How can Deha and Jeeva Rasi be used other than in Kalacharka analysis? Are they relvent to track throughout the varga charts? and are they of special interest in other dasa systems such as Narayana Dasa? Your comments and insight are welcomed...
