OM NAMO NARAYANAYA Dear Shahil Ji, Do you think Retrograde Shani gives the same result as direct Shani ? For your information about 2 years before I have discussed the charts of Retrograde planets taking example of Brenden Ji.It may be in Varaha Mihira group archives.Now you know that Shani is retrograde in your wife's chart and is in 23 deg.Makara 19'45.61'.So we have to consider it from its previous sign Dhanu also.So Shani ® gives its aspect 50 % to both signs ie., Tula and Kanya rashis.Retrograde means obstacles from the previous life Karmas.So Shani ® means the Karmas connected to previous Janma are not completed and so took birth in this life to complete such Karmas.So until those Karmas are not fulfilled,Shani will not allow your wife to take Sanyasa Yoga.Also to take the fruits of anybody's Karma,God's Blessings are required.In Jyotish, Guru's aspect or any

connection with Karma Karaka Shani has to be there.In the said chart,Guru is also retrograde.Now in your wife's chart,as Shani became direct on 21/10/1963,after 16 years of age Shani became direct.But Guru who is also retrograde became direct on 5/12/1963,so it becomes direct only after the age of 60 years.So till her age becomes 60,eventhough in her mind ,there is a kind of Vairagya in her mind,it may become effective only when she attains the age of 60.Here the calculation is see when a planet becomes direct after the birth,that so many days are so many years to become a planet to become direct.To confirm this, see Chandra's sign dispositor Kuja is in Vishakha Nakshatra ruled by Guru who is Vakra in her chart. I remember

your posts in the past about retrograde planets, but cannot accept this method

of looking at the chart. Please justify/correct the points that i have

collected below from your mail:

 

i)

Planets acting as if in the previous sign?

 

My argument against this is: a) where is the scriptural reference?

and b) If a direct planet doesn’t act as in the following sign, then how

can a retrograde planet act as if in the previous sign?

 

ii)

Retrograde Shani will obstruct Sanyasa yoga?

 

Here i am aware that you are using a certain timing technique that

i agree with, however in the chart of Sri Jayendra Sarasvati –

Shankaracharya of Kanchi, Shani is retrograde, but he attained diksha at 19

years of age, before Shani went direct. Chart details are: July 18th,1935

7 pm (79e26, 10n42).

 

Instead , my understanding is that the retrogression shows a very

strong desire to attain something, and when the direct motion begins, it shows

the desire ending. This is because a retrograde planet is said to have three times

its normal strength and thus has Atma bala (the three types of desire are that

of the dhi, mana and atma). So i dare not say that there necessarily be a case

of obstruction, just a strong desire which is not fulfilled, like an endless

desire for money, children, relationships, etc. It may even be a desire for

sanyasa!

 

On the other hand, if a retrograde planet is involved in a curse,

it shows a curse which cannot be remedied due to the strong desire (atma bala) envoked

by the ‘curser’, hence causing the obstruction in that sense... offcourse

all this depends on the context.

OM NAMO NARAYANAYA Dear Visti, Namaskar, Here I am not arguing with anybody but i have done studies about vakra planets and I obtained success in this matter.Now you have not read my mail completely.I have said,Karma Karaka Shani and Daivanugraha Karaka Guru work hand in hand.If Guru is not Vakra,then he will give the fruits of the Karma very early also.Now you said in the case of Swamiji,He attained Sanyasa at the age of 19.Please check the transit position of Shani during the day of Sanyasa.Was he transitting over natal Guru or was he retrograde etc.? You can see the effects of vakra planets from their previous house as per Nadi technics which was taught to me by Shri R.G.Rao.1st I was not at all agreed about this theory but when I went very deep,I felt what he said is correct.Also please

find out why planets get retrograde scientifically and check whether astrologically they are correct or not.As I said earlier, I am not arguing or finding out the scriptural evidences.Whatever we have till now is not complete and that much only I can say.Still we have to learn a lot.Even our whole life is not enough to say the we know complete Astrology.As long as planets get retrograde Karmic cycle continues.Our Past Karmas will continue to the next life.Only a few can get Moksha.
