Hare Rama Krsna

A prasna is good for one year. In this way the dasa being used is condensed to a one year period.

Dear Freedom-ji and Raja-ji,

namaskar. Actually the prediction of prashna can go beyong 1 year period. Sanjay-ji had talked about it in a conference on Prashna. He does not use compressed dasa but prefers using Tribhagi Vimsottari dasa. Also prediction of event in question can be timed by the number of elapsed navamsas that a planet in lagna (or if there is no planet, then take lagna degrees) multiplied by the time unit associated with the graha in the lagna. For example, Moon is hour, Mars is week, Venus is paksha (fortnight), Jupiter is month, Mercury is ritu (2 months), Sun is ayana (6 months) and Saturn is varsha (year). Say Sa is in lagna and if it indicated cure from a certain disease then use the Saturns degrees to calculate the number of navamsas it has elasped and then multiply it by year; that many years will take to cure the disease completely.

Best wishes,

Sourav

DearFRIENDS,Parasara says Vimsottari is THE best.IT IS MY OPINION THAT NO BODY SHOULD ENTERTAIN ANY DOUT ON THiS DICTAM OF SAGE PARADAR.But ,kindly remember it is dificult to apply. This system never failed me.In hora- shastara Sage devoted 12 chapters on this dasa system. Other dasa is KALA-CHAKRA-DASA. It is unfortunate the savants calculate this dasa in many ways. There is no common grond.Remaining nakshatra dasas are only supportive to these two main dasas and are also not universally applicableto all nativities. these comments are not applicable to Planetary and sign dasas. G.K.GOEL Dear List,Can anyone say which is the best dasha system for a prashna? Also, how long does a prashna hold good for?Raja
