What happens when the NM is a yogakara for that chart ? For example what will be the effect of Saturn being yogakaraka for Libra lagna stationed in the 10th house in Cancer? Can't be bad for the career in general, Svayambu, but check the narayana dasa to time favorable periods. Aspecting the 4th, 7th and 12th houses, nuptial life may just encounter bad weather, again to be timed by proper dasas and transits. > 2. When do Moon and Mercury become natural malefics. I am a little confused here. Association means a relationship, which can mean being together, in quadrants from one another or Me being aspected by a natural malefic. Can't see where the confusion comes from Mo is at worst a mild kinduva malefic, and nothing much to be scared about. The effects of the Moon dasa is a different ballgame; when in trines from Jupiter, eg, the Moon dasa can be particularly testing. You can't of course disregard other factors like astakavarga bindus, placement in D-9, etc. hth
Guest guest
Dear Guru Vernalagnia First, thanks for a such a quick response. Regarding the Yogakaraka (YK) as NM aspecting, could you please give me some general pointers. So by your analysis (of libra) I understand that even though Sat is a YK he will still give some troubles. Generalising this a YK will give good or bad depending on his nature being NM or NB. Secondly my confusion regarding Mercury comes from this, in some books (by Sri DeFouw & Svoboda, Sri B. Suryanarain Rao, and maybe by Sri B.V Raman) it is said that association here means a planet joining another in a house. Therefore this would then make ME a malefic not by aspect but only by conjunction. In some instances I have also read that ME is malefic if " weak & afflicted " (Sri. K. N. Rao). So for a newbie like myself even little things like this cause confusion. Thanks again. Svayambu sohamsa , " vernalagnia " <vernalagnia> wrote: > > sohamsa , " svayambu " <svayambu> wrote: > > > > 1. Yea you can say so. If Ma is yogakaraka, you might win your battles but be left scarred. Ra might give you lots of dubious wealth, etc. > Secondly my confusion regarding Mercury comes from this, in some > books (by Sri DeFouw & Svoboda, Sri B. I can't hold a candle to either BVSR or BVR. > In some instances I have also read that ME is malefic if " weak & > afflicted " (Sri. K. N. Rao). Old hat. Actually, just 'afflicted' is bad 'nuff too, since Me is regarded an intelligent if impressionable child. hth
