Dear Narasimha,

When correcting the navamsa, please

stick to navamsa. How are we going

to arrive at any decision if you keep on deviating into

higher divisions

without fixing the navamsa? My additional comments are

below: -

I don't agree with this approach. We cannot make a decision to change the

birthtime solely on the basis on navamsa, esp when there are decent arguments

in favor of different navamsas. That is unreasonable. We should look at

other divisions also and make a decision based on ALL factors.

No chart works in isolation. All the charts together make a person what

(s)he is.

With Taurus lagna, Sun is in a trine.

All charts together constitute a nativity. Looking at only one chart

and rectifying is simplistic, I think.

WHO WILL USE CONSIDERABLE DHI SHAKTI FOR LEARNING. IT

PRODUCES ONE WITH A

BROAD KNOWLEDGE BASE AND ALSO GIVES SKILLS IN TRADITIONAL

KNOWLEDGE &

SCRIPTURES.

Questioning or pondering are an inherent nature of Scorpio and 8th.

If I have any broad knowledge base, that can be because of lagna lord

Mercury in 8th in rasi (Mercury in 8th is supposed to give that) and not

necessarily because of Jupiter in 9th in navamsa.

No, this is a very valid point. Saying that "Jupiter in 8th in navamsa

produces a fool. You are intelligent and Jupiter must be in 9th" a hasty

conclusion. Such thumb rules and looking at charts in isolation come in

the way of real analysis.

"Strong Jupiter in 8th in navamsa (the chart of inner self) tunes one's

dhee sakti towards nigoodha tattva" - this is not a matter of likes and

dislikes. I consider this a "real analysis" and don't see any need for

"getting over it". In fact, I humbly request you to give a second thought

to what exactly the 8th in navamsa means. Navamsa is the chart of marital

life, but it is also the chart of inner self.

I realize that my navamsa chart with Ar is nicer than it is with Ta

lagna. The chart with Ta lagna has some drawbacks. But the fact is that

those drawbacks are indeed present in me to some extent (with that exact

extent determined by my rectification measures, but still not completely

overcomed). I am not accepting any drawbacks to win an argument. I am just

being honest.

FOR FIFTEEN YEARS I *REALLY* BELIEVED

THAT MY NAVAMSA

IS LIBRA AS THE RECORDED TIME SAID SO. AFTER ALL THERE

WERE AS MANY AS EIGHT

LADIES INSIDE THE BEDROOM, THE LADY DOCTOR HAD BEEN SPENDING

THE DAY AT HOME

AND THERE WERE TWO NURSES AS WELL. MY GRANNIES WERE HAVING

A SMALL PARTY AND

ONE WAS EVEN GIVING A RUNNING COMMENTARY! YOU KNOW HOW

THINGS CAN BE IN

INDIA WHEN YOU HAVE THE RIGHT KIND OF RESOURCES. THE

HOSPITAL HAD COME HOME!

AND THUS I WAS ALSO NOT PREPARED TO LISTEN TO ANY LOGIC.

WHEN I WAS TOLD

THAT VENUS IN THE SECONE ASPECTED BY MARS FROM THE 8TH

PRODUCES....MY ANSWER

WAS THAT KETU IS ALSO PLACED IN SCORPIO IN THE SECOND

AND SHALL SINGLE

HANDEDLY DEMOLISH THAT EVIL COMBINATION JUST LIKE GANESHA

CURSED TULSI TO

BURN IN HER PASSION DUE TO HAVING DISTURBED HIS PENANCE

I checked this before. Based on your wife's chart, I have no doubt that

your navamsa lagna is Scorpio.

and his conjunction of lagna lord makes my wife a dharmik person.

Moreover, Bhrigu Sutram, Saravali, Phala Deepika etc say that Sun in

9th makes one a dharmika and a respector of tradition.
