[Jagannath] Rasi drishti and sastastaka

Dear Prabhus,

While looking at D-10 Narayana-dasas of one of my friends I ran into a puzzling situation. Can anybody please suggest how to resolve it.

 

His dasa sign was Cancer and he had Sun, Jupiter, and Mercury in the 8th (from it) Aquarius. So, on the one hand this is good as so many good planets aspect the rasi sign. On the other hand Sanjay Prabhu writes that Sun and Jupiter in the 8th are very bad for they are very inimical to whatever is in the 6th from them (here the rasi sign). And also planets in the 8th house in general in D-10 are bad as they indicate retirement. And on the 3d hand these three planets aspect the 10th house Aries. So how to adjust these apparently different indications? And in general, fixed/movable signs aspect signs in 6th/8th relative to each others. So in general if Jupiter is in the fixed sign than it will beneficially aspect the respective adarsha sign but at the same time be inimicaly disposed to it by the position. Seems strange and unexplicable to me.
