I am very much in dillema with one of the conditions you put for being your shisya, i.e., total honesty, in all circumstances. I shall ask you a question here. Mostly it is said that, tell the truth to the persons who deserve to know that. And depending on the circumstances, sometimes dishonesty is not bad...if it can save someone's life. For example take a situation, a person came running to me saying that someone is going to kill him. I hide him. After sometime another person came running and asked me about the previous man.... What shall I do now? Shall I misguide him or tell him the whereabouts of the previous person.
