Guest guest
Om Sri Gurubhyo Namaha Pranaam Sanjay, Dear Jyotisha, I am wondering about this lull in activity. If you are busy mediatating or chanting for the Shivratri, then it is fine, else please attempt the questions I had posed on your own charts. I was busy porting the bugfixes and new things (Mandi etc) that I added in JHLite 3.0 into the regular version. I hope one of you can list out the names of the 60 Jovian years. Om Tat Sat Best Wishes Sanjay Rath I am quoting at the end the names of 60 years. I am quoting from a website (instead of typing them myself). Are you talking about the same years? I was born in year Saumya. You answered my question on the correlation between these and Jupiter-Saturn cycles. But I am still not satisfied. One may explain the names of the 60 years (and the attributed results) based on the usual positions of Saturn and Jupiter in that year, but sometimes Jupiter is in one sign for half of the year and in another sign for the other half. Sometimes Jupiter may be in a sign other than the usually expected sign for a particular year. So I don't quite understand the correlation between the so-called "60 years based Saturn-Jupiter cycles" and the Saturn-Jupiter motion. One can offer a theory, but I am uncomfortable with it. So I don't think my understanding is complete here. Anyway, I am listing the 60 years below. Telugus start the list with Prabhava and the list below starts with Prabhava, but it should be Vikrama (Jupiter & Saturn in Aries). Someone can perhaps rearrange it. Some people write "Pramaathi" (current year) as "Pramaadi" and they write the actual "Pramaadi" as "Pramaadeecha". You earlier said that Kali Yuga is 1200 God-years, i.e. approximately 432,000 years. As we divide into antaras, you said that Krita, Treta, Dwapara and Kali chakras start in 800 AD, 1280 AD, 1640 AD and 1880 AD. You said that the aaroha (ascending portion) of Kali chakra is 1880-1940 and avaroha (descending portion) is 1940-2000. You said the 60-year Saturn-Jupiter cycle is the basic unit ("Now, Two such cycles of Jupiter-Saturn conjunction in Aries maybe called a "Chakra" with the first cycle called as Avaroha and the second as Aaroha. "). For example, you said in the above quoted statement that Saturn-Jupiter conjunctions in Aries start a chakra. Exactly 85x60 years back, when the same cycle of years started, Jupiter was in Aries on the new year day, but Saturn was at the beginning of Pisces. Their latest conjunction was in Capricorn. Why didn't Saturn-Jupiter conjunction in Aries start a new chakra? The 60-year lunar year cycle and Saturn-Jupiter motion are conceptually correlated, but the correlation is sometimes off by a year or two. This is why I am uncomfortable with this whole topic. Please shed more light!
