Guest guest
Dear Gurudev, My respectful obeisances. Jaya Jagannath! Let me start the discussion. These are mostly counter-questions rather then answers. >Q1: As a begining let us list these years and the placement of Jupiter for >each year. I hope all attempt this exercise. Aries: 1881, 1893, 1905, 1917, 1929, 1941, 1953, 1965, 1977, 1988, 2000 The rest are respectively. BTW, it is interesting but all these dates correspond to major dates in Russia's history which is Aries as is known. Previous conjunction occured in 1761 in Pisces, before that in 1642 in Aquarius >Q2: How many such cycles have passed since the begining of Kali Yuga and how >many cycles are there in Kali Yuga? Kali-yuga began at 3102 B.C. So 42.5 (approximately) Jovian years has passed since then. In Kali Yuga there are 3,600 cycles >Q3: How many cycles in Dwapara, Treta and Krita Yuga? 7,200, 10,800 and 14,400 respectively >Q4: How to differentiate between an Avaroha and Aaroha cycle? In the first place, may I ask why they are called Avaroha (decending) and Aaroha (ascending) - what does ascend and descend respectively? You compared them (which to what?) to day and night - so they can be judged by external symptoms. Though for me it is a little bit tought to differenciated between why 1881-1941 was any better then 1941-2000 >Q5: Then tell me the Jovian year in which you were born and the predictions >given by the texts for this year of YOUR birth and also, Why these >predictions were given for that year (Please add your Rasi chart for this >purpose). I was born with Jupiter in Libra in 1970 (should it be around 9 p.m. Jovian " time " :-)?). Before answering this, what do you mean by predictions given by the texts for this year? General predictions at the point of Sun-Moon conjunction of the Magha month? Your shishya Yasomatinandana das
