Dear Gurus and students,

Pranams.

 

My answers to the Lagna assignment follow.Please correct me if wrong.

 

My Lagna is 26' Mithuna, ruled by Budhi.

 

1.Physical appearance.- Mithuna in AC. is supposed to be tall thin, with

dark curly hair. I think I appear more like cancer, possible because my

AC.. is close to cancer.So, I have mixture. Medium height,brown straight

hair,round almond eyes,raised nose,olive skin, moonlike face. muscular,

type body, energetic,bright.

 

2.Personality- Always busy doing different things, optimistic, curious,

playful,restless body and mind.Like to joke around,study, help others.Many

varied interest. " jack of all trades master of none. " Adaptable, learn

fast(except for math),energetic,outgoing, ever seeking of

knowledge,introspective.Mentally agile.Hate being restricted.Do several

things at one time.

Easily influenced.For better or worse.So I try and keep devotional music

on, surround myself nice gardens, water, nature like settings,etc.Associate

with pious people. I'm sensitive to angry people,loud noises,cars,etc-I

live in the country for this reason.Ability to perceive others feelings,

abilities,shortcomings. Very tolerate and compassionate but when agitated

or provoked too many times, I can be explosive.

 

3.Traits to be corrected- Down side of Mercury-Hard to rest or relax.Prone

to anxiety if things don't go properly.Tendency to obsess- So I have to

make sure its constructive -like think about Srimad- Bhagavatam.Can be

insecure, lack confidence, fearful at times, fatalistic. Need to pace

myself, not over endeavor. All or nothing attitude.Get involved in to many

projects.Exhausting my energies.Need to control my tongue, and/or not talk

more than necessary..Can be impulsive at times. 11th is ruled by mars.

 

4.Profession associated with Mithuna that applies to me - cancer/ruled by

Moon is in the second, pisces ruled by Jupiter in 10th. I'm business

manager,for family, not by choice but can do it.Gives knowledge of many

things.Deal with lots of people. Ability to speak.Knowledge of medical-had

nurses-medical training,religious,counseling, transmitting info to others,

astrology,teachers,etc. Could do writing, research.(Had scholarship in

journalism).May write a book one day..if I can sit still long enough.

 

5.Business and finance-Libra in 5th speculation,Aires in 11th. Can make bad

decisions if I'm impulsive and don't stop and think.Have to be careful in

dealings, purchases etc.Take the time rather than becoming impatient and

making judgement on things too quickly and impatiently..Knowing I have this

tendency, I try and wait for awhile because more than likely my ideas or

perception will change if I think on it over a period of time.Mercury gave

Good business sense.

 

6.Ideal match- I don't know! Libra ? Mercury friend to Venus.(My moon is

in libra)Maybe another Mithuna. I'm not sure.Someone intelligent,loving,but

with steady mood.Practical. Please let me know!

 

7.Marriage and romance- Mithuna is supposed to be a sexual sign, with

tendency to have illicit relations.

In my chart Saturn puts giant crimp on my 7th house but Sag/ruled by Jup

gave a husband that was a renunciate, knowledge of scriptures, missionary

personality, with a fire-like disposition.We lived separate.

 

 

8.Relationship and sex.-Trusting,devoted in relationships .I'm adaptable so

I can get along with people.--In sexual relations,Can be playful and

affectionate.Somewhat detached, but need reassurance of love. Could come

under influence of men if not careful. Never had any satisfactory

love/relationship.

 

9.Domestic environment- Virgo in 4th house.and cancer in second- busy and

ever changing environment, moved a lot in infancy.My 4th house is ruled by

Virgo/Mercury-my lagna lord.So, my home life is important to me. I live

with two sweet daughters and son. I work where I live. I like things to be

clean. Always lots of activity around me.

 

10.Health- Mithuna an airy sign can have problems with lungs, which I

do-have asthma.This causes Air imbalance can cause blood impurity,

sensitive skin-had exema as child/ mars rules 6th and 11th house-6th from

6th so health issues can be present, which in my case is true. Nothing

fatal, but things requiring surgery,groin hernia,intervention with

medicine. Other issues are exhaustion from constant activity, not enough

sleep.Mental exhaustion taking on too much responsibility and different

activities. Ability to heal.Renew. Mercury is karaka of neck,arms. My

lagna afflicted so I Have pinched nerve in neck giving pain to hands,

arms,shoulders,etc.

 

11.Hobbies-Gardening makes me peaceful, Like pets,rode horses,keep birds.

Artistic things-Venus rules 5th. Reading, learning new things, visit forests.

 

12.Moods- Moods fluctuate /influenced by the emotions,actions of

persons,close to me.I'm usually enthusiastic,optimistic-extremely easily

influenced by sound vibrations, music.Can be too sensitive.Have to guard

against extremes.

 

13. Fabrics-Clean ,soft, cotton, colorful, green, blue colors favorite.

 

14.Furniture-Simple comfortable.

 

15.Music- Sweet, melodious. I'm VERY moved by sound.Has

hypnotic/intoxicating effect on me. Like devotional music best.

 

16.Safety/Daring- not a risk taker .Nervous excitement,thrills- feels more

like fear to me. Nerves can't take extra stress.

 

17.Herbs- green planets, wild flowers.

 

18.Lucky days-Wed/ Fri

 

19.Lucky colors- green

 

20.Lucky gems- emerald- green tourmaline/brass metal

 

21.Lucky number- 5

 

22.Miscellaneous.- Mercury represents Vishnu, Mercury rules my Lagna in

natal chart and is in Lagna of Navamsa. In this life I'm devotee of Lord

Krishna/Vishnu .This is the single most important part of my life.
