The dictum for the Sadhu yoga is that Chandra or its dispositor must be strongly associated with Shani. This is so in the chart. This can be expanded to association with a malefic, as malefics associated with Chandra will give the person some bad experiences in their community/soceity. This can either send the person into a bout of depression, or into the spiritual life. BUT! For this manifest spiritually in the person, the malefics or chandra must be in a sattva guna sign, i.e. a dual sign, in either rasi or navamsa. In this chart Moons dispositor is Mars, aspected by Saturn and Rahu. Among these only Rahu occupies a dual sign in rasi or navamsa. Specifically this is a dual rasi and movable navamsa for Rahu, thus the reason why the spirituality will only manifest late in life (dual+dual=early, dual+fixed=middle life, etc). Right now Rahu dasa and its antara dasa is running, and that is why it brought the spirituality in a big way. Rahu by nature if retrograde, so a lot of determination or ‘atma bala’ is excerted by her in this pursuit. She is very determined. Next is to understand the manifestation of the event. This is seen from the arudha lagna. We have a choice between arudha lagna in Kanya or Makara, as Scorpio has two lords. Ketu should transit in the trines to these, and indeed Ketu is in Kanya right now, which is in trines to both arudha lagnas. Now the fourth from the arudha lagna shows the joining of a large spiritual family. Especially if it happens later in life, then the lord of this should be seen (refer to fourth house chapter of my book). Jupiter or Mercury should be strongly associated as well. If we take Makara, then the fourth lord is Mars, and no strong strong association of Jupiter is there, though Mercury aspects by rasi dristi. If we take Kanya as arudha lagna, then the fourth lord is Jupiter and is placed in own sign, thus supporting the joining of a spiritual organization. So we may infer that the arudha lagna in Kanya is working. Now to see how seriously she will take the vows of celibacy and etc, we must see the placement of Venus from arudha lagna. Here Venus is placed in the arudha lagna and debilitated, so it is unlikely that she will keep the vows of celibacy seriously. Mercury is however in the twelfth from arudha lagna and is joined upapada, and can show that she will not be interested in working and may also begin rejecting the spouse. To solve this problem either her or her spouse should be advised to fast on days of the upapada. For her this means Sundays as Sun lords her upapada. For spouse you have to find out. Fasting on upapada days is also good for spirituality, and is one of the best remedies for life! My understanding is that Karkataka (Cancer), Simha (Leo), Dhanu (Saggitarius) and Meena (Pisces) are the sattvic signs as they belong to the sattvic planets. Looking forward to hearing from you. Visti-ji, would you be able to tell us what these two separate ways of defining a rasi indicates? Is it that the dual signs are themselves sattvic, but as for cancer and leo they are sattivic due to the nature of their lords? How is this justified - these two systems i mean? Thank you. I just have one question regarding the (Dual + Dual = Early, Dual + Fixed = Middle etc.) this is not in keeping with the method for calculating longevity where dual + dual = middle life span etc. so how is it used? I'm guessing it is a method for finding when combinations will fructify, but I have not heard it mentioned before this. Could you clarify? Thank you for your excellant piece of advise on sannyas yogas, I being the spouse am perturbed that my old age may be ruined or Iwill be in the bad circumstances with no children ?. I will fast on thursdays ( my upapada lagna day)as you advised. DOB 26-10-1953 Time 04-04 am Place Mangalore (12'52N 74'51E ) Please advise me as should I go back to my first wife who seems to be repenting after her divorce with me ,she was arrogant as she is very rich , material minded and has a habit of flaying others insulting etc , now she seems to have turned a new leaf but is it too late to join her ? Thank you for your excellant piece of advise on sannyas yogas, I being the spouse am perturbed that my old age may be ruined or Iwill be in the bad circumstances with no children ?. I will fast on thursdays ( my upapada lagna day)as you advised. DOB 26-10-1953 Time 04-04 am Place Mangalore (12'52N 74'51E ) Please advise me as should I go back to my first wife who seems to be repenting after her divorce with me ,she was arrogant as she is very rich , material minded and has a habit of flaying others insulting etc , now she seems to have turned a new leaf but is it too late to join her ? Even in my chart venus is debilated.Seventh lords from Lagna and Moon are in Dual signs. OR Is there any chance of my taking sannyas as of late I am the Disciple of SadGuru Shree Ramadevi Of Shakthinagar Mangalore I have recieved Diksha from there and my capacity of sadhana Has increased , Meditation and Satsangha, Bhajans. Japa etc. Please help me to decide my life from now onwards as to what The Prarbdha karma has ordained for me. Please guide me in your own way as I am tempted to ask you only.Maybe It is HER WILL that I ask You Craving blessings Sreepad sir, Namaskar! Thank you for your excellant piece of advise on sannyas yogas, I being the spouse am perturbed that my old age may be ruined or Iwill be in the bad circumstances with no children ?. I will fast on thursdays ( my upapada lagna day)as you advised. DOB 26-10-1953 Time 04-04 am Place Mangalore (12'52N 74'51E ) Please advise me as should I go back to my first wife who seems to be repenting after her divorce with me ,she was arrogant as she is very rich , material minded and has a habit of flaying others insulting etc , now she seems to have turned a new leaf but is it too late to join her ? Even in my chart venus is debilated.Seventh lords from Lagna and Moon are in Dual signs. OR Is there any chance of my taking sannyas as of late I am the Disciple of SadGuru Shree Ramadevi Of Shakthinagar Mangalore I have recieved Diksha from there and my capacity of sadhana Has increased , Meditation and Satsangha, Bhajans. Japa etc. Please help me to decide my life from now onwards as to what The Prarbdha karma has ordained for me. Will it constitute sannyas yoga. IF so when I am at present running Scorpio Narayana dasa from 2002--2012 2) Saturn Is in The 10th from Arudha Lagna With the the Sun (,combust). Will it cause Liquidation of my financial assets? or will my finances improve in the latter half of Vimsottari dasa which is now? 3) Is Exalted Moon Being atmakaraka harmful as it is a benefic?Will It harm The ninth house/ tenth bhava it inhabits? 4) Whatis the result of 2 benefics (rasi dristi) aspecting Arudha lagna with Rahu being There? 5) W hat is my amatya karaka Is it Rahu or venus?
