Question on Vipareta raj yoga

Dear Gauranga and others,

 

I would like to ask a question;

can Vipareta raja yoga be formed by some other aspect or conection between two lords of dusthana other than conjunction?

For example; in my chart, lords of 8th and 6th, Mercury and Moon (for Aquarius lagna) are posited in dusthana houses (Mercury in 6th and Moon in 12th) and in this way they aspect each other by Graha dristhi. Lords of dusthanas are conected and they are in the dusthanas as well, can this sort of mutual conection by Graha dristhi (or in some other case by Rashi dristhi) be considered as some sort of VRY? Is this sort of VRY eficcient like "full" VRY (if we can call it in that way) or only in some lesser degree.

Primary Viparita Rajayoga is created by lords of Dusthanas conjoining, being in Parivartana (exchange signs) and two Dusthanas having the same lord. The mutual Rasi Dristi by the lords of two Dusthanas is only seconday yoga, and is much less powerful. In your chart there are no primary Viparita Rajayogas. Moon as lord of 6th in 12th could be technincall called as such, but is again secondary Rajayoga.

 

In my views a primary VRY is powerful enough to give actual gains to the native by the losses of others. However, a secondaly VRY will only be able to bring about destruction of some negative effect, but not an actual gain. Like Moon in your chart may bring about loss of some enemies. Also Mars lord of 3rd aspecting and dispositing Saturn lord of 12th may cease disturbances from brothers through their loss, but not actual gains. The example given by you will not qualify even as a secondary VRY as for this at least Rasi Dristi should be there. Graha Dristi may only give the desire for escaping from some enemies because of sickness, but will not be able to bring the effect about.
