But maybe He has some special reason for this. I would also not give my opinion on the best time to install it, although I wouldn't favour the eclipse time. Maybe I would see that Venus is strong, free from affliction and rising. Maybe Friday and Venus hora is also good. Or you might as well choose the time of Moon-Venus conjunction. Kusha's reply ---- I think the diamond was prescribed by Gurudeva due to 9th Lord Venus being posted in it's own house in the 2nd. Also my Istha deva is Tulasi devi-Venus lord of the chara atmakarka in Tula. Consequently, I look forward to strengthening my devotional service. Sanjayji said financial concerns would disappear if I wore a diamond. I also read about diamond being bad for women, but am not concerned. After all, my age is 48. I am grandmother of 4. The feminine mindset and activities are waning and I don't relate to being female so much anymore. I just checked my gochara and discovered yesterday Saturn exactly opposing Venus, hmmm? Seems I should wait till the tight orb of the transit passes over 9th March before installing the stone. Jupiter opposes Venus entering on the 13th March and Moon is waxing. I'll wait till a Friday Sunrise during Jupiter's aspect. I'll be in Vrindavan then. Does this sound good? Still I am wondering about the solar eclipse for putting on a stone??? Is this bonafide or has that author written something that could harm people? I would think all conditional activities done on an eclipse would be tainted with the evil eye of the eclipse.
