Regarding your previous letter concerning the accursed lady, unfortunately I

wasn't able to sort out the charT as first you have given the name and data

of a lady, and then of a man, who I suppose was the man shot dead.

 

But as no one reacted to your request I will try to give some hints. If the

lady or her family is really accursed, than the best remedy suggested by

Thakur Bhaktivinode is to read aloud the 18000 sanskrit shlokas of the Srimad

Bhagavatam and the effect of the curse would diminish. If this is not

possible then you may try to resort to the power of Bhagavan Sri Krishna's

words and arrange for a Gita Jayanti Havan. That is to chant all the shlokas

of the Gita aloud and make an oblation into the sacrificial fire after each

shloka. We have done many such yajnas here in Hungary, and I suppose there

are also some qualified brahmins who can arrange this over there. By the way,

the day when Sri Krishna chanted the Gita is coming soon, if I'm not wrong it

will be on the Ekadashi tithi of the Shukla Paksha in this month.
