Guest guest
Dear Denis, Very good question. In astakvarg only planets are considered, and they are having effect on each other, by transit , by sight and by being in same rashi. Rahu is not a planet, and there is no effect on Rahu, malefic or benefic due to any planet. Planets gets effected by Rahu. This satisfy only half of the astakvarg system. So Rahu is not considered. In Transit, If any planet is having effected by Rahu is not considered. For Dasha system, Rahu is considered to be giving effect for the lord of the sign and lord of the star. Guest guest
Dear Krushna and Margarita, Something is not clear. About this rule: > We have seen the effects of Rahu. I checked in many charts > that Rahu conjunct Mars in the 5th or aspecting the 5th > harms " children " either their birth, their mental qualities > (retarded child) or whatever. Do we apply this rule on ALL the charts (male and female)? Or do we apply this rule to the 5th house in male charts and to the 11th house in female charts? Thanks a lot Denis

Guest guest
Dear Margarita, I have tried to reply your mail about Rahu twice. Unfortunately it did not reach. Mars if efflicted by Rahu, reduces the happiness for the houses it is situated and also houses it aspects. For your information, Position of Rahu in charts of a native, resembles with his parents. Similar experience is with Saturn and Jupiter. So it is said it also give heredatory effect ot result of past deeds. krushna --- dmlettens <dmlettens wrote: > Denis, I've found this aspect in male as well in > female > charts > Margarita > > > DENIS LABOURE [Laboure] > Thursday, May 09, 2002 3:07 PM > > Re: rahu > > Dear Krushna and Margarita, > > Something is not clear. Guest guest
Respected Krushna, Thank you very much for this answer. Yes, I had realized that the nodes turn up in the same houses/signs or in an inversed manner?. Guest guest
Dear Denis - Not to butt in here, but I think Krushna is trying to say that you will find that family charts have certain patterns in their charts that they have in common and one of these factors revolves around Rahu, Saturn or Jupiter being in the same place from the Lagna or the Moon in both charts. He's not referring to physical resemblance. . . Donna Dear Denis, If you see the chart of Father/Mother and Son/daughter, you may find some resembling things.
