Dear Narayan,

What you say is absolutely correct.

However there are many astrologers in India who use only D-1 and

D-9 and make not only bold but correct predictions. Their

astrology depends as much on intuition and spiritual power as on

logic and analysis.

I guess one thing can be said: If a computer program makes

predictions with statistically significant success oneday, it

will NOT be based only D-1 & D-9.

One who depends heavily on rasi chart will need spiritual power

to be successful. Any successful and reproducible methods of

astrology must be based on vargas also.

One more thought before I wind up: Sometime back, we saw the

charts of twins who had all the divisional charts upto D-45 same,

but different lagna in D-60. Unless we master the use of fine

divisions like D-45, D-60, D-108 and D-150, our methods will

probably remain imperfect.

Our existence in the physical, conscious and subconscious planes

is influenced by our existence in higher planes of life and that

is the meaning of the influence of D-60 in all spheres of life.

May Jupiter's light shine on us,

Narasimha
