Guest guest
OM namo narayanaya Dear gurus and fellow students, I would first like to apologize for having dissapeared over the last few months. I have been swamped with school work. Either way, it was not right on my part when you are all taking the time to teach us. My new years resolution is to double the mantra repitition so that this does not happen again. I humbly ask for your forgiveness. I was going over some of the files in the archive, and came across the the file on Ishtadevata. There, for determining family deities, Narasimha writes: " Vimsamsa is the chart of upaasanaa. The 2nd house is the house of family. So the 2nd in D-20 shows worship activities of family " . What does it mean if this method seems to give different deities for different members of the same family? Also, for a girl, will the family deity represent the deity of father or future husband? Lastly, one of my uncle's is a great Anjaneya bhakta. Which graha would represent aanjaneya? your sishya, ajit -- Ajit Krishnan ajit@(julian|csd|engga).uwo.ca http://publish.uwo.ca/~akrishna
