Guest guest
Dear Karu, Thank you for sending me this! This is a most valuable concept and has so many ramifications. You know it has been an earth-shattering idea to hear that birth should be taken from the cutting of the cord rather than the first breath or the emergence of the body. I am re-evaluating charts on this basis, charts where the " birth time " is known with accuracy, and finding great confirmation. My own son's birth time was carefully noted, but looking at his divisional charts I have usually been in a haze of uncertainty. On the basis of this new information, his navamsa moves up one rasi. Everything is crystal clear, there is a shock of recognition! And this is happening on many charts. On your D-7 example with the 9:15 birth time, for instance, if you allow for a later time for the cutting of the cord, and try not just Capricorn but Aquarius lagna, then it seems perfect. The ninth house is Libra with Jupiter. Paka lagna is Venus in Pisces. As per Sanjay's parivartana explanation, Venus is conjoined a female planet, Saturn, and Jupiter by parivartana, gets the same treatment. Child is female but paka lagna ends up being Jupiter in Libra, and tenth from it is Sun, the tithi. I wonder why in RATH's RULE on p. 327 there is a distinction between male and female. On the basis of this other information, that would say that the house of death for males is the eighth, and tenth from it is the fifth. But for females it would say the house of death is the twelfth, and tenth from it is the ninth. Curious...... Thank you again, Karu.
