Lesson #11-Tatwa and Graha

 

Q.# 1. Determine the predominating Tatwa of the Lagna in your chart.

My Lagna is Mithuna-a dwiswa/dual and Vayu/air rasi.

 

By Rasi drishti Lagna receives an aspect from the other dwiswa/dual signs,

Kanya- prithv tatwa, Dhanus-agni tatwa, Meena-jala tatwa.

So we have a combination of earth/privithi, fire/agni, water/jala, and air/

vayu tatwa on the lagna.

In addition:

Kuja- an agni tatwa/ tomas planet, is in the 10th aspecting lagna

Ketu- is in lagna.I'm not clear on what Ketu contributes.

 

This is my first attempt at Argala, I'd like to try... However, argala is

not a dristhi but an intervention so it might not be used in this instance

of determining tatwa influence.

Check Argala from 2,4, and 11th houses.

In second house is ExGuruR- a satwic/Aakash planet.There is no obstruction,

as there are no planets in the 3rd.Likewise there are no planets in the 4th

or the 11th houses.

 

Secondary Argalas- that are influencing Lagna

Planets in the 5th- Chandra-a jala tatwa /satwic planet and Sani - a vayu

tatwa -tomas planet.

There is no obstruction from the 9th house.

 

The Nakshatra of my AC. is Punarvasu- ruled by Guru.

Looks like my Lagna has a little of everything.?
