Om Gurave Namah

Dear Sarbani,

Good to know that you are back. How is your health and that of

Guruji? I hope that both of you are feeling better.

I just wanted to share with you and other friends this interesting

information about the link between Sri Rama pattabhishekam and

Omkara (Taraka). Sri Samavedam Shanmukha Sharma said that Omkara is

divided into the following 8 parts...

A- Brahma beeja- represented by Jambavanta

U- Indra beeja - represented by Sugreeva (because Vali had passed on

his indra shakti to his brother by way of his kantha haara-

neckalace, so that indrashakti resides within soura shakti)

M-Rudra beeja - represented by Hanuman

Bindu - sudarshana chakram- represented by Shatrughna

Naada - Paanchajanya Sankham - represented by Bharata

Kala - Adisesha or Ananta - represented by Lakshmana

Kalaateeta - Vishnu maaya - represented by Seeta

Tat paraa- Niraakaara niranjana Parabrahma - represented by Sri Rama

Given your knowledge in mantra shastra, I am sure you are already

aware of all this. When I heard this I was thinking whether all

this could correspond to the chakras within/without the body and

ensures comprehensive protection of iha and para.

Sharma garu also said Sri Rama and Lakshmana together constitute an

invincible raksha kavacha. Which planet represents Lakshmana? Rahu,

since he was born in aslesha nakshatra? or do you think he can be

Mars, because of his anger, celibacy etc?

Infact do you think Sri Rama, Lakshmana, Anjaneya, sugreeva all

represent solar/martian forces and their going to south/dakshina to

Lanka might indicate their digbala in that direction?

So many questions!

Regards,

Lakshmi
