Dear Chitra,

The main point that Sarat was stressing was the link between Body

(Chakra from Lagna), Mind denoted by the next Chakra from the Moon Lagna and

the Soul (Atma) denoted by the next Chakra from the Sun.

 

The point is that the Chakra from the Sun being the outermost is also

the one that is closest to the " outer world " or the Divine space of

Narayana. Thus, this body is merely a clothing for the mind and soul and the

mind is merely food in the form of experiences for the soul.

Jaya jagannath!!!

Pranaams Sarat,

Thank you for clearing my misunderstanding of the drawing of Sudarshana

Cakra. The innermost circle begins with Ascendant, 2nd circle starts with

Chandra lagna and the outer one starts with Surya lagna. All three lagnas

align with each other.

Sanjay's lesson combining the tattwas and yugas was neat. I never knew that

before. The story about laxmi on the head or the thigh was neat too. Now

when I read those stories in the scriptures I am very careful to savour

every word and ponder about the layers and layers of meaning.
