Guest guest
हरे राम कृष्ण Dear Angel, Namaskar. NO KILLING! The standard sacrifice of all balis is that of offering oils, ghee, coconut, seeds or food (all vegetarian) into the fire. Which offering depends on purpose of the homa. Guest guest
LOL Oh Man! You are really DEVIL little angel but in angelic and innocent way. At least you are aware of karmic outcomes. Remember in olden days when they used to do some bali, they would kill someone for example in Adivasis or Bhil tribes they do bali of goats etc animal for kali mata. But now instead of doing that kind of paapa what is recommended in hinduaism is that one should break the Srifala or coconut it is same as the bali in simple words. You must have noticed that many people offer coconut to the fire in homam i.e agni devta who then carries it to prescribed devata. In those with sarpa dosha, it is recommended that some kind of homam should be done and srifala or coconut should be offer during homam along with other samagris to the sarpa devtas.
