Dear Yasomati Nandana,

The Saptamsa and Navamsa are regular charts i.e. the first saptamsa of

every successive sign always follows the last saptamsa of the previous sign.

This is also true for Navamsa, but not for Dwadasamsa and Dasamsa etc. When

the Varga is not regularly ordained, we cannot see fruits from the 11th

house of the concerned bhava.

I have explained earlier that for some things we need to accept the

teachings of the Guru. Here, we need to accept the teachings of Parasara

blindly.

Some astrologers of yore (I think Manteswara) have questioned and also

differed by saying that Dwadasamsa is for spouse and Drekkana for profession

!! They have tried to alter the basic premise of Jyotish when they did not

get the answers to " Why Dwadasamsa for Parents " .

Dear Gurudev,

Please accept my respecful obeisances. Jaya Jagannath!

Thank you very much for your answers.

Can you please give another hint. You nicely explained why children are seen

from Saptamsa and wife from Navamsa being the fruits of the respective

bhavas. But I cannot understand why parents are from Dwadasamsa? Should it

have anything to do with the statement from Srimad Bhagavatam -

...Pita na sa syat, janani na sa syat...

that one should not become a father or a mother if one cannot bring one's

children back to Godhead? Or there are some other reasons also.
