Dear Gurus and fellow jyotisha,

 

Here is my attempt at this lesson. I saw noticed that this lesson has

just been evaluated a few minutes ago. Would you please evaluate my

attempt as well?

 

With Aries Lagna: Jupiter, Mars and Sun are benifics. Mercury, Saturn

and Venus are malefics.

 

1) Pravrajya yoga

 

3rd from AL (Aqu) has 2 malefics Ketu (indicating spirituality) and

Venus (lord of 6th from AL).

 

In navamsa: 6th from AL and 3rd from Lagna (Gem) has 2 malefics

Mercury (lord of 3rd and 6th from Asc, and lord of 6th from AL) and Rahu.

 

However, the malefics are not weak or debilitated, so pravrajya yoga

is not strong. Right now, I am going through Rahu-Mars dasa, and this

time has been a great blessing for my spirituality. However, I am not

sure how to read this in my chart...

 

2) Vipareeta Rajayoga

 

This is caused by interaction of dusthana lords. In this chart, Mercury

is the lord of the 3rd and 6th. Mars who is lagna lord owns the 8th, and

Jupiter owns the 12th.

 

The lords of the 8th and 12th conjoin the lord of lagna and AK

(Rahu) in a trikona (5th), therefore transferring power to them.

 

The giver of Vipareeta Rajayoga Saturn, and lord of 3rd and 6th Mercury

have exchanged houses.

 

Jupiter is in retrograde going towards exaltation, and Mars is in

retrograde going towards debilitation. So, this yoga is not very strong,

but Mars as lord of 1st and 8th in a kendra should be good for

astrology.

 

But, I am not sure how to interpret the fact that the two planets

involved in this yoga are in retrograde.

 

3) Rajayoga

 

Atmakaraka (Rahu) and Pitrukaraka (Jupiter) are conjoined in Leo which

is owned by Sun.

 

4) Special Lagnas

I am not sure how to interpret the special lagna positions.

 

In this chart, there seem to be mild versions of the various yogas, but

none of them are textbook examples. All the yogas seem to involve Leo or

Aquarius, which have 2 benefics and 3 malefics in conjunction or with a

strong aspect which seems to make a mess of things.
