Namaste Gurudeva,

 

**My Janma Nakshatra is Mrigashirisa 2nd Pada. (Rasi is Taurus)**

 

Major characteristics of Mrigashirisa and its categories:

 

(1)It is falling into the 'not-so-forceful' category. (2) It is a Nabumshaka

yoni Nakashatra, (3) Tamasic Guna, (4) Gana is Deva Gana, (5) It belongs to

Wind category. (6) The lord of Mrigashirisa is Mars. (7) Aim: Moksha.

(8)Presiding deity is Moon. (9) Mrdu or tender character (10) 3 stars are in

the Nakshatra. (11) limb of the stellar deity is eyes. (12) Animal: Female

serpent (13) Tree :- " Karunga " (14) Bird :- Hen . (15) Class:- Sudhra -

Servant. (16) Stellar Rulership:- Fragrant articles, garments, aquatic

products, flowers, fruits, gems, foresters, birds, beasts, those who partake

Soma juice, musicians, lovers and carriers or letters. (17) Effect of birth

in Mrigashirisa: Fickle mind, clever, timid, eloquent, industrious, wealthy

and endowed with sensual pleasures.

 

Impact of these above referred characters on my mind:

 

Nakshatra is the residential place representation for the Moon. So, the

Moon's nature changes with respect to the constellation occupied by Moon.

So, the Karakatwa of Moon, manas get altered, based on the Nakshatra of

Moon. Here, in my case, Mrigashirisa is not a very good Naksatra, although

it is falling in the Moolatrikona sign of Moon. I am not considering here

any other planetary or house influence on mind other than the Nakshatra

influence.

 

My manas has the 'not-so-forceful' category qualities of truth, honesty,

kindness, purity in motives and thoughts. I don't have any controversies in

any issue. I weigh both sides and I feel both sides have their rights. I

have the ability to make the people agree on my terms. People will not have

anything to say against my view. But, it doesn't mean that they have full

agreement. I am Philosophical too.

 

The Napumsaka yoni quality is in dual nature, so nothing specific will be

there. Both qualities are there.

 

Tamasic nature with respect to mind prevails. Unless, somebody or something

activates, I will not do anything on my own. Instead of action oriented, it

keeps on thinking on what is right and what is wrong? The fixative nature

also is there. I stick to my opinions. I think several times and refer

several books and come to a conclusion on certain matters. Then, I am

stubborn on the matter and conclusion. No one can change me.

 

Regarding deva gana, I don't think I have any divine qualities.

 

Windy nature, I don't know the exact interpretation for this windy nature.

 

As Mars being the lord of the Nakshatra, it is also contributing to the

tamasic nature. Similarly, it strengthens the stubbornness as worrier.

 

The Moksha nature and Mrdu or tender character of the Mrigashirisa

contributes to my Satwik and soft side of my mind.

 

In general, the Mrigashirisa is considered for Marriage muhurta. But, as

mentioned by Mr.Gauranga das, the Mrigashirisa made my life miserable until

my age of 32 years. And non of the dasa systems (to my knowledge) show this

continuous trouble till 32 years.

 

**My lagna Nakshatra is Poorvabadrapada. 2nd pada. Rasi Aquarius**

 

Major characteristics of Poorvabadrapada and its categories:

 

(1)It is falling into the 'not-so-forceful' category. (2) It is a Purusha

yoni Nakashatra, (3) Satwik Guna, (4) Gana is Manusha Gana, (5) It belongs

to Varuna category. (6) The lord of Poorvapadrapada is Jupiter. (7) Aim is

Artha. (8)Presiding deity is Ajaikapat. (9) Ugra or fierce disposition (10)

2 stars are in the Nakshatra. (11) limb of the stellar deity is sides. (12)

Animal: Male Lion (13) Tree :- " Thoma " (14) Bird :- " Ullan " - Pigeon type .

(15) Class:- Brahmna. (16) Stellar Rulership:- Thieves, cowherds, murderous

persons, niggards and those engaged in despicable and roguish activities,

those who are devoid of virtuous or religious observances and those that are

clever in single combat (17) Effect of birth in Poorvabadrapada: Unhappy,

henpecked, wealthy, clever, miser.

 

Impact of these above referred characters on my " Dhi " or intelligence:

 

My Bhudhi also has the 'not-so-forceful' category qualities of truth,

honesty, kindness, purity in motives and thoughts. Bhudhi weighs each and

everything properly and gives due consideration for everything. The

analytical ability is very good.

 

Being the Purusha yoni, it is so forceful and active, budhi excels in

fields, where I am interested.

 

Satwik and Brahmana nature and the Jupiter lord contribute to Satwik side of

the Dhi, strong intelligence and grasping power. Ugra makes it so forceful

in application. But, my memory is very very poor. I don't find any reason

from the Nakshatra characters.

 

**What my mind thinks good or bad?**

 

My mind thinks having money as security and getting recognition is good.

Negative side of this is bad.

But, my budhi thinks or teaches that security given by money and recognition

is false and maya. I don't think the mind has accepted this. My budhi is

keep on trying.

 

**When it gets sad or happy?**

 

As the mind things money and recognition is good, it gets happy when they

arrive and if it is otherwise, it will be sad. But, the happiness is also

for a short period, then the fear of retaining the money flow and retaining

the recognition comes into picture. Then the happiness vanished. And the

mind never got any whole happiness. Then it asked Bhudhi to find out. Bhudhi

was searching for the answer for years. Now, it found out the mind gets its

real happiness from comforting worried, suffering people. Mind agreed on

that. But, still it believes that money and recognition is so important. So,

now mind is in the transition process of accepting its own truth.

 

** General - mind and bhuthi**

 

I don't have much internal conflict between these two. Moon Nakshatra is 8th

from Lagna Nakshatra and Lagna Nakashatra is 21st from the Moon Nakshatra. I

don't know how to correlate these two.

 

I feel Nakshatra plays important role and its impact on our life is

tremondous. But, we need more knowledge on their charecters and the

interpretion of various nakashatras and planetary influence from their

nakshatra.
