Jaya Jaya Narasimha

Pranaam Sanjay,

 

I am grateful for this fantastic lesson on D-60!

 

My father always taught me that Narasimha (angry form of

Narayana) should be worshipped to keep Rahu under check.

This is especially true if Rahu is in a Mercurian sign

(which is the case in your D-1 and D-60).

 

Narasimha is the lord of all mantra and tantra. He controls

all the deities who act as the media for different tantras

and mantras and all the negative spirits are afraid of him.

 

Sanjaya, after reading what you wrote, my sincere advice is:

read " Mantra Raja Pada Stotram " written by Shiva everyday.

 

Parvati asks Shiva:

 

" mantraanaam paramam mantram

guhyaanaam guhyameva cha

bruhi me naarasimhasya

tattvam mantrasya durlabham "

 

(The greatest of all mantras, the most hidable of all

secrets, teach me Lord Narasimha's nature, which is tough to

be captured by any mantra)

 

Then Shiva recites " Mantra Raja Pada Stotram " for her. The

language and expression are absolutely beautiful.

 

" jyotinshyarkendu nakshatra

jwalanaadeenyanukramaat

jwalanti tejasaa yasya

tam jwalantam namaamyaham "

 

How beautiful!

 

Shiva said:

 

" yannaama smaranaadbheetaa

bhoota bhetaala raakshasaah

rogaadyaascha pranasyanti

bheeshanam tam namaamyaham "

 

So Narasimha's worship is the answer to the provocations and

temptations that you said you face.

 

I hope you will see merit in my suggestion. If you don't

have " Mantra Raja Pada Stotram " , I can send it as text or as

a RealPlayer audio file!

 

In your D-9, 12th from AK has Mercury. But Mercury is in a

fiery sign (Leo) and fiery Sun aspects him! Mercury suggests

Vishnu, but Mercury with some fiery influences suggests

Narasimha. Please remember that Narasimha is just another

form of Jagannatha.

 

Worship of Narasimha will help you in overcoming the

problems and finding the goal of your soul.

I am still not convinced why your D-60 lagna must be Cn and

not Ge. My intuition tells me it is Ge. Let us say lagna is

Ge in your D-60. Still, Venus, Mars, Saturn and nodes in

quadrants makes you a tapaswi and a Tantrik. Rahu in tamasik

Virgo in the 4th shows tanrik learning again. Mercury in 5th

and exalted Jupiter in 2nd show that you were a good Jyotish

in your previous life (which must be the case, given your

tremendous growth as a Jyotish in this life).

 

I don't understand why you rule out Ge lagna in your D-60.

My intuition is in favor of Ge.

I am not into mantra and tantra. I am in fact put off by

tantra. I believe in devotion and I will prefer to read a

long stotra whose meaning I understand, appreciate and feel,

rather than a strange-sounding mantra that is supposed to be

powerful. I never tried any tantra and don't intend to. It

puts me off.

 

When I read or hear new things related to astrology or

Sanskrit language and grammar (etymology etc), I many times

feel as if I already knew it. I don't get a similar feeling

with other subjects, but I sometimes recognize Sanskrit

words I never saw before and immediately figure out their

vyutpatti. Like your tantric skills, my skills in Sanskrit

grammar must've followed from me from my previous life. But

I have Jupiter and Ketu in the 4th house in D-60. I was

expecting Mercury's influence, because he rules grammar etc.

Mercury aspects Jupiter and Ketu in 4th from the 9th house

Libra. Lagna lord Saturn is exalted and joins Mercury in

9th. Does this show that I knew Sanskrit language, grammar

and Jyotish in previous life? How?
