Guest guest
Dear Friends: " Kala Sarpa Yoga " - a detailed study. With " Sarpa " meaning serpent, Kala Sarpa yoga occurs when all planets are contained within the Nodes - Rahu and Ketu - axis. That is the Lagna and Planets should not exceed 180 Degrees arc. In simple terms, no Planet or Lagna to be OUT of the Nodel orbit of 180 Degrees. Some Astrologers opine that Lagna in birth chart is excluded. This placement, which is labeled in the texts of quoted authors as malevolent, unhappy, provides inflexibility, stubbornness, and high stung-personality. The " Kala Sarpa " yoga is effective in prominent terms, (i) If Rahu is in the first SIX houses from Lagna in the birth chart, (ii) all the Planets are between Rahu and Ketu (iii) No Planet is located in the same sign of Rahu. Generally termed as, this yoga destroys the good indications in a horoscope. The house where Rahu is located suffers most. the Yoga will still operate if conditions (ii) and (iii) only are fulfilled but its strength will be less. If this is prevalent in a birth chart, the native will have to experience adverse conditions/results, in the first six months in Rahu Desa, immediately close to Mars Desa. The depositors of Nodes - Rahu and Ketu are of perticular importance. If any of them under good influence, that does not own a bad house and is beneficial planet for Lagna lord, that depositor Planet during its periods of influence gives extremely good results. If it forms good yoga with other planets, the strength of yoga increases in many folds. Such a planet, under adverse influence or of adverse nature is capable of harming the native to a great extent. However, the transit (Gochara) conditions of planets forming 'Kala Sarpa' yoga, will not effect those born with Kalasarpa yoga in their birth charts. In any case, child born in the formation of the conditions of 'Kala Sarpa' Yoga period , will have this yoga formed in their birth chart and should be studied carefully of resultant effects. Guest guest
Hare Rama Krishna Dear Learned Ones, Pranaam I wanted to know that for the Kal sarpa yoga do we need to have the ascendent along with all other planets stuck between rahu and Ketu? What if all the planets are stuck between rahu and ketu on oneside and the ascendent is on the other side, should we consider that also as a kal sarpa yoga in the chart?
