Location of Muladhara (Adhara)Chakra - According to Swami Sivananda

Dear Sourav,

 

Good email from you. Please post it on the va list if you dont mind. So much thinking on moolaadhara chakra these days thanks to the debate! If I am not mistaken, Sanjay forbids his students from medidating on moolaadhara chakra. Anyway on to my doubt. Consider the following opinions given recently:

 

Narasimha: " Mooladhara chakra of Kalapurusha is in Li (7th house of the natural zodiac, i.e. vasti or the sac that contains colon etc). "

 

" The correct ayanamsa is between Lahiri ayanamsa and Krishnamoorthy ayanamsa. "

 

Sanjay: "

My findings are very similar that it is near the present Lahiri Ayanamsa. "

 

 

From these statements, I understand somewhat tentatively that:-

 

(1) Moolaadhara chakra is placed at 180 degrees in the natural zodiac, i.e., zero degrees of the sign called Libra or Thula corresponding to Sahasrara chakra at zero degrees of the sign called Aries or Mesha.

 

 

(2) The correct ayanamsa as per the researches of the above named persons is less than the popular Lahiri ayanamsa by a certain magnitude which has not been revealed so far.

 

 

That means that the " correct " ayanamsa will place the Mulaadhara chakra in the sign of Virgo or Kanya?

 

Is my understanding correct or am I missing something here?
