Namaste!

Thank you very much for the information! This kind of information was

exactly what I was hoping for when I talked about gestation period deciding

the paramayush in the case of animals!!! When I said I didn't know the

paramayush of ISKCON, what I meant was that I didn't know the "gestation

period". I was pessimistic and thought nobody would know the "conception"

date of ISKCON. If Srila Prabhupada himself said that 1896 was the conception

year, we can accept it.

You like experiments. Here is an opportunity

to conduct another one.

There is prediction in Puranas (sorry, I forget where exactly

but it is

coming through our Gaudiya Vaisnava parampara) that the Golden

Age of Lord

Caitanya's sankirtana movement in this Kali-yuga is going

to last 10,000

years. Srila Prabhupada would often say that ISKCON will last

for 10,000

years after which Kali-yuga will take over and there will be

practically no

religion at all. Let's take this figure as a Paramayus and see

what happens.

Another approach is that Srila Prabhupada would often give 1896

as a sort of

'conception date' of the International Sankirtana movement. This

was the

year Srila Bhaktivinode Thakur sent his English book "Life and

Teachings of

Sri Caitanya" to the major libraries all over the world. He would

also

mention that it coincided with his birth year. So we can take

these 70 years

as a gestation period which in turn also gives a paramayus about

10,000

years depending on whether you take 120 or 108 years.

I am a little bad at astrological mathematical calculations so

I want to

request you: can you please calculate Vimsottari: Dasas, Antardasas

of the

present Dasa, Pratyantardasas of the present Antardasa - etc.

till the 5ths

or even 6th level. Scale it by the factor of 70 * 1 year / 9

months (or

whatever the exact human gestation period is). Please use the

365.2425 year

(you can also send your favorite 360 year but please calculate

the another

option too).

Let's see whether anything intelligable works out of it, Krishna

willing...

After praying to Deva Guru, I am proceeding further with the hope that

the principle of finding paramayush based on the gestation period as given

for animals would work for ISKCON too. I am also assuming the gestation

period to be exactly 70 solar years. If you know the exact dates, please

let me know the difference.

Another note: In the case of human beings, gestation period may differ

from one person to another. The exact difference between the conception

time and the delivery time does NOT determine Shoola dasa paramayush. If

it does, every person will have a different paramayush. For paramayush

of human beings, we take the *average* gestation period of human beings.

So, ideally we need the average gestation period of movements like ISKCON.

Let me leave this technicality for now and assume that 70 years is the

gestation period.

Using 108 x (70 / 0.75), we get 10080 as the period of long life (equiv

to 108 years of shoola dasa). This corresponds well with what you quoted

from Puranas (which Purana? Can you give more details?).

Mapping 120 years to 11200 years, I am giving the Vimsottari dasa below.

I am using 365.2425 day years as you and Sanjay prefer. Anybody who wants

the dates for 360d years can contact me (I will not waste space by giving

the dates with 360d, as I seem to be in a minority here!).

My program gives dates before the birthdate also and please bear with

it for now.

Because you quoted a Purana as suggesting that this movement will last

10,000 years, the first thing I looked at the Vimsottari dasa running then.

It belongs to Mercury - 7th lord in 8th!!

Jupiter dasa during 8000-9400 AD looks very promising, assuming these

calculations are reasonable. Sanjay, did Achyuta Dasa make any predictions

going that far?

Now comments on the basis of these calculations are welcome from members!

Because of the technicalities mentioned, it is possible that there are

some errors in the calculations. So it may not be advisable to use sookshma

dasas and prana dasas.

I will try to make some comments later, but I am pre-occupied with other

things at the moment.
