Thanks for the detailed analysis on Dreshkana and Saptamsa. It is very

useful for students like me.

 

There is one clarification. I am not intended to be part of this on going

Lagna rectification. My question is purely on academic grounds.

mentioned knowingly, please give the reason for that.

 

2.You stopped the progression on younger siblings after this Pisces

analysis. Why? Is it because, in rasi chart only 2 younger siblings are

indicated?

Yes, it is a typo.

Yes, basically. Of course technically we say that the nodes stop the

progression, but this

does not always hold true in practical life. So we have to judge from the Rasi

chart. But

here we could say also that Ketu conjoins Jupiter, so he stops, and Rahu

ocuppies the

house of next sibling.

 

Another subtlety: when we go backwards for elder siblings, we would have the 7th

sign from

Dreskana Lagna indicating the 3rd elder sibling, but at the same time the 3rd

younger as

well if we go forward. So we have to decide, and I think that the elder siblings

enjoy

preeminence, as they are born before the native. So you do the manduka gati

backwards for

elder siblings, and when their number is finished, use the remaining houses fro

younger

siblings, making the suitabe crawl wherever required. Of course this

interpretation has

its limitations as you will not be able to find separate houses for more than 12

siblings,

whereas in actuality some families have more children than this.
