Namsate Sanjay -

just wanted to thank you for your clarification on on the 64th navamsa...

Can you be so kind as to discuss why this sensitive point is viewed as negative,

its weight when looking at one's chart, and the effectd of the Graha's that transit though it...?

What should one expect? What can one recommend to mitigate the negativity?

Pranaams,

Sanjay Rath [srath]Wednesday, December 06, 2000 12:44 AMvarahamihira Subject: Re: [sri Guru] 64th nav. - MathsDear Bhola & Frank,Jaya JagannathNav is nine and Amsa is division. Thus the 64th Navamsa begins where the63rd ends. One navamsa is 3deg 20min. so, 63 x 3-20' = 210 Deg = 7 Signs.Add 210 Deg to Longitude of Moon in Birth chart and the resultant point isthe begining of 64th Navamsa. In Navamsa Chart, 3-20 Deg of Rasi chart is expanded into 30 Deg bymultiplying by 9. So, 210 Deg should be multiplied by 9: 210x9 = 1890 Deg =90 Deg (expunging multiples of 360). Dividing 90 by 30 deg for a sign, weget 3 complete signs. Thus the 64th Navamsa is always in the 4th sign fromthe Moon in the Navamsa chart. This is the simpler way to check all divisional placement.VEDIC MATHEMATICS: this is the simplest: Divide 64 by 12 and take remainder:we get 4-this shows that the 64th navamsa is in the 4th sign from the Moonin D-9 Chart.Best WishesSanjay Rath-Bhola <nbblbrt<varahamihira >Monday, December 04, 2000 18:27 RathRE: [sri Guru] 64th nav. - Maths> Om Krishna Guru>> Dear Austin,>> Let me add little math here how to calculate navamsa and then 64th nav.> First refer to D-1. Take the moon. Find the rasi in which the moon islocated. Now that rasi is whether Firey, Earthy, Airy, or Watery find.>> For the rasi Fiery like Aries, Leo, and Sagi. the navamsa always startsfrom Aries.> For the rasi Earthy like Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn the navamsa alwaysstarts from Capricorn> For the rasi Airy like Gemini, Libra, Aquarius the navamsa always startsfrom Libra.> For the rasi Watery like Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces the navamsa always startsfrom Cancer.>> Like this, defining the rasi from where the navamsa starts we calculatethe navamsa on the basis of the longitute of the planet of which we are tofine the navamsa.> Eg.,> Moon in 28 deg. 02 min in Sg. find the navamsa of the moon.> Now the Sg is fiery sign so the navamsa starts from Aries. For> 0-3:20 (3 deg. 20. min) belongs to Aries.> 3:21 to 6:40 belongs to Taurus.> 6:41 to 10:00 belongs to Gemini. So like wise......> 26:41 to 30:00 belongs to Sg. So the Navamsa for the moon is Sg.>> Another eg,>> Asc. in Taurus 6 deg. 33 min> Taurus is Earthy Sign so navamsa starts from Capricorn.> 0 to 3:20 - Capricorn> 3:21 to 6:40 - Aquarius. So our longitude falls here and this will be theasc in navamsa.>> As I have understood for the calculating the 64th nav., take the moon inD-1. Find the 8th house from it. Take that rasi. Now find the navamsa forthis rasi AS IF moon were located here with the same logitude. Now you cancalculate the navamsa for this position. That will be the 64th nav. of themoon which will be always 4th rasi to your moon in D-9.> Eg.> Moon in 19:58 in Aquarius in D-1.>> Now take 8th sign from Aquarius and it is Virgo. Now let's assume the moonis here. ie, Moon 19:58 in Virgo.> Virgo is Earthy Sign, so navamsa starts from Capricorn.> 1.)0 to 3:20 - Capri.> 2.)3:21 to 6:40 - Aquarius> 3.).....> 4.).....> 5.).....> 6.)16:41 to 20:00 - Gemini. So the Gemini is the 64th navamsa for themoon. Gemini will be 4th from your moon in D-9.>> Thanks.>> At 03:20 PM 03/12/2000 -0800, you wrote:>> Namaste Brendan,> Let me ask a few few questions on the paragraph you were kind enough tosubmit.> You wrote:> "The 64th Navamsa from the Moon corresponds to the 4th house from theMoon in> D-9.
