Atmakaraka in JHL

Dear Solai,

For Rahu, the longitude is considered in reverse direction.

If Rahu is 0Ge46, his longitude for strength comparision, Karakatwa decisions is 30 - 0.46

29 - 0.46 = 28.14

This is because Rahu always travel in reverse (anti zodaic) direction.

Some people feel the same applies to the planets in retrogation. But that is not accepted.

Do this ONLY for Rahu.

of Rahu for the purpose of calculation of the Chara Karakatwa should be

reckoned in the reverse. Thus 30-0.46 =29:14'. Thus Rahi becomes the AK. You

share this Yoga of Rahu as AK with a number of the greatest saints of this

world..Ramakrishna Paramhamsa, Srila Prabhupada etc. Why?? Read COVA

carefully where I have explained these subtle points about chara karaka.

The moon and rahu are very close, this perhaps can cause problems itself? Moon is in the last degee and rahu in the first, they are both moving towards conjunction.

I myself have rahu and moon together in the 8th, and the association though not close did cause great disturbance to the mind. I do think that understanding astrology had a lot to do with getting over this.

By the way, I know of another chart with some identical aspects - Aquarius ascendant, mars in the 7th exchanging with sun in the 10th, saturn in the ascendant aspecting mars and sun. When I met her this lady's life had stabilised. But when she was young she had a boyfriend who shot himself (aspect of both mars and saturn on 7th house and 7th lord). At that time she was upset that he had done so by himself. I dont know whether something similar has upset your life, but if it anything like that, it may help to know that other people with similar combinations have come through it very successfully. She now has a family, career and children and leads an OK life with the usual minor ups and downs.

Dear Gurudeva,Thanks for your and Mr.Vijay's reply. I have been longing to get COVA, BPHS and other books mentioned in JVAC site. As I am in Arab country, I am trying to get these books through some friends. I hope I will get those books soon.Meanwhile, I am in a very low level in astrology compared to the knowledge of other students. I am so pleased to hear about the Yoga of Rahu AK. But, what I am confused is, as I mentioned in my earlier mail sometime back (the copy of that mail is given below in green colour), the position of Rahu in my chart. With all my great respect I feel the JHL is correct. However, my mental state, incoherent thinking, memory problems, mind and psychological problems from Approx. 1980 till 1999, shows that I should have rahu in Taurus with moon in the fourth place. Although, I got growth in education and in carrier during this period, I had lots of troubles and setbacks. More worst is the unimaginable mental problems. Still, I have problem in the head and mind, although it is far better now.Apart from the fourth place, in 10th place also, I have a very bad carrier so far. Although, I am a Goldmedalist in MBA, I didn't have a decent job, which gives reasonable pay and job satisfaction. Instead, I got only non rewarding, peaceless jobs with stress and pressure. Moreover, against my will I am forced to work in a foreign country. My carrier started in GURU dasa only and the same is continuing till now. I feel these are because of Ketu in Scarpio (Apart from the effects of Sani and Mars aspects). I don't know I may be wrong.If these two conditions are not because of Rahu in Taurus and Ketu in Scorpio, then I will be very happy to accept Rahu in Gemini and as my AK. I may be wrong ,so please clarify my doubt. I herewith attach my JHL chart which shows Rahu in Gemini.

I didn't have any incident similar to what you have mentioned. Perhaps it is due to the Guru's aspect on 7th House and Moon's aspect on 10th House. If you can give more details about your friend, I am pleased to compare my life with that and can inform the group about the similarities. If you want you can send privately.
