Guest guest
Dear All My feeling is that the life after death calculations and analysis is not perfect from Natal chart. the 12th house at the time of birth and the 12th house at the time of death are two absolutely different things, and same can be said for many other aspects. The current time is the most important. Thus prasna could be more useful and can be subsequently linked to natal charts. best wishes partha sohamsa , " Kasim Khan " <kasim_ch@h...> wrote: >
Guest guest
|| Om Gurave Namah || Namaste Partha and Friends, I understand the point you are trying to make i.e The chart only indicates the past karma and not the karma performed by the person in this life or the Karma one may do in Future. But, Do consider that, The current Life time is very small compared to Many lifetimes one has already undergone. So The quantity of Karma performed in Past is so huge that it would be Arrogant to consider we can overcome them. Take the case of Baali maharaaj, Vishnu has already appointed him to be next " Indra " after current one. Baali's Karma of already having donated three worlds to Braahmana Vaamana deva will surely give him fruits. So we already know his future based on his past karma. Similarly Puraana speak of many such incidents where Future benefits for many advanced soul is already determined for the great deeds they have performed in the Past. The question is whether we as jyotishis, Daivangya etc will be able to know it. (Visti) |Hare Rama Krsna| Dear Visti Please explain how to calculate chandra upapada lagna. Do we look at the 12th sign from the moon. And calculate the arudha lagna from that sign? How do we interpret the chandra upada. Ketu = spirtual abode? Jupiter/Sun = heavenly abode Rahu/Mars/Saturn = hellish? Mercury/Venus = earthly? What about the signs? Thanks for directing me to the said message, because I really enjoyed reading it again (I would never miss even a single line from Guruji!). Guruji was talking about imbalances in pancha tattwas and corresponding imbalances in gunas.... i think it is the nodal influence which causes these imbalances. My basic premise is that the pancha bhutas & trigunas tend to remain in equilibrium (the way god created them)unless there is an affliction to one/some of them. infact, we had an interesting debate on this topic in Varahamihira, perhaps 2 years back. [Visti] Yes when we talk of tattvas and balance/imbalance, then it is Jupiter who is keeping them all together through the akasha tattva whilst the nodes are breaking this akasha tattva and causing ‘bad-sambandha’ between the gunas. Can the mind (manah) exist/operate without the body? It can not. similarly if the mind has something/ someone " tangible " to cling on to, it would not fall into the trap of addictions & depressions. " Tangible " is the keyword here, because moon's preoccupation is totally with " prithvi " ! [Visti] No mind without body? And yet our body is not required for dreaming? So i guess you don’t believe in the dictum from Chandra Kala Nadi about the Chandra-upapada and the abode after death?
