You may know this already but I will give it to you again. " Arudha " means illusion and the Arudha lagna is a reflection or the mirror image of the lagna as it manifests in the world. The lagna could be said to be the True Self and the Arudha lagna is a projection of that Self in the world, the illusion one has of Self, a projection of that Self, and is therefore a False Self. Thus the Arudha is the Maya that others perceive. The Arudha is that which the person presents to the world, while the lagna is the real person. Your Arudha lagna receive the rasi dristhi of Sani, as does all the angular houses from the AL. This is key. Planets that form good yogas from AL may bring good results in the world but they will not be lasting and the results are unlikely to bring long term happiness or spiritual progress for such combinations promote Maya. They may promote material prosperity but not spiritual satisfaction, especially so if they are functional malefics from the lagna. Saturn in Karmashetra - 10th from Janma Nakshetra! It depends on what you want to evaluate. Presumably career! Saturn will deliver according to his nature. This is one factor and to evaluate career you must look at rasi, dasamsa and the relevant karakas. Saturn in the 11th has argala on the lagna, 7th, 8th and 10th. It argala on the 10th will bring responsibility and hard work, the 8th promotes longevity, on 7th may brings problems in marriage/relationships (COVA). So Saturn in Karmashetra in 11th should bring lots of hard work. > b. Yes, this is VRY. > AND - in Navamsa - Mars aspects Sani, as Sani ( by Graha dristi) > aspects Mars - does this = Vipareeta Yoga. Mars in 6th as 8th lord is VRY, but aspects lagna and aspected by Saturn can bring problems with health and relationship. > c. Saturn is the LL and placed in the 2nd but the second lord is neecha in the 12th. This weakens the result we can expect from the Saturn dasa. Note Rahu is co-ruler of the Aquarius lagna and placed in 9th house with 9th lord. Rahu is stronger than Saturn as ruler of the lagna but you are in Sani dasa. Saturn and Juptier are transiting the 4th house in this chart right now. What are you doing with properties? You should examine AL and A4 in this chart for a complete analysis. I would also recommend you apply Narayana dasa to D-4 if you wish to examine good and bad period for properties. > 2. Sun is in the 5th house in sign of Cancer = 3s21 degrees 4 mins. This means distance to Sun is 3 complete signs (Aries, Taurus, Gemini = 3s + degree position of Sun). This si the distance of Sun from 0 degrees Aries. It is correct! Regards, Brendan
