Guest guest
Dear Narsimha and List members: Eventhough, I know that I could be wrong on several answers based on my today's ability to understand little about Astrology. Please forgive me for my mistakes and kindly correct them. EXERCISE 1: Find arudha padas of all the 12 houses in Chart 2. [Hint: Mars is with 2 other planets and Ketu is with only one planet. So Mars is stronger than Ketu and works as the lord of Sc. Saturn is alone and Rahu is with another planet. So Rahu is stronger and works as the lord of Aq.] Lagna: Libra A2: Pisces A3: Virgo A4: Taurus A5: Libra A6: Gemini A7: Cancer A8: Pisces A9: Aries A10: Aries A11: Gemini A12: Capricorn EXERCISE 2: Consider the following matters. Using standard references, you can figure out the relevant house for each of the matters. Go one step ahead: Identify which of the matters live inside a native (true houses) and which of them rise in the material world (arudhas). (1) Learning : It is Native's ability and it is of true house: 4th and 5th house in Rasi chart and 4th house in D-16. But A4 in D-16 exists in the material world (2) Academic degrees : It rises of material world. It is of A5,A4 in D-24. (3) Devotion: True house and it falls inside native. It can be seen from 9th house, 5th house in Rasi Chart, 9th in Navamsa chart and in (4) Reciting mantras: A5 in Navamsa. (5) Feeling sick : It falls in Arudha of 6th house in (A6) in D-6. (6) Being sick and getting treated : It falls under true house. It falls in 6th house in Rasi chart, and getting treated falls in D-8. (7) Boldness: It rises in the material world. It falls in 3rd house of Rasi and A3 in Rasi Chart. (8) Weapons: It lives inside native. I am not sure about its house. Could it be 6th or is it in 2nd? (9) Luck : It is Arudha of A11 in Rasi chart. (10) Trappings of fortune: Is it 6th and 8th house from 9th house in Rasi chart? A6 and A8 in D-30? (11) Judgment and discretion : It rises in material world. It falls in Arudha of Lagna (AL), I am not sure about discretion. Is it 10th from AL? OR AL in D-10? (12) ReputationL: Truly, Arudha Lagna in Rasi chart. (13) Followers: It rises in material world. A5 and A9 in Navamsa? (14) Bank balance : It also falls in material world and it is A2 in D- 2 EXERCISE 3: Consider a native with the dasamsa given in Chart 3. He had a quarrel with an international organization, over which he was stripped of world championshiop in a game. (a) Identify which house or arudha shows a public spat with a powerful body. Find it in the chart. Public spat is of true self quality. Langesh in D-10 is Mars and it is in 8th house(own house) shows victory over enemy(8th lord in 8th house) and powerful body. And quarrel(Vacch) is seen from 2nd house in D-10, which has saturn in taurus and aspected by Mars and ketu. (Fiery palnets) Since A-4 is in 2nd house, the world perceived his emotions getting out of control by means of Arguments. (b) Identify which house or arudha shows winning a championship. Find it in the chart. Gain is seen from 11th house, so 11th from AL is Aries, which is aspected by Rahu, Mars, Sun and Ketu. Since Aries Lord (Mars) aspects from sixth house from AL, and also A11 is in Scorpio shows that it is Mars which may have given him the most winning of championships. (After working really hard being in sixth). Also malefic planets in 3rd and sixth from AL gives Rajayoga. © Find the rasis that shows loss of championship. [Hint: Remember that trines from a house show its prosperity. Remember Sanjay's recent guideline that the 9th house from any house is its primary protector. This is a fundamental principle. Use it!] Loss is seen from 12th house. 12th from AL is Taurus with Saturn in it. It is aspected by debiliated Sun and debiliated jupiter. So it is Taurus, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn Rasis that must have given him defeats. Since you gave the hint about trines, (Leo, Saggit, Libra, and Aquarius) only Taurus, Cancer and Capricorn remains for his Loss of championship. (d) Find the common link and identify the rasi whose Narayana dasa may have resulted in a public spat and loss of world championship. It is most likely that, it could be Dasa of Taurus or Capricorn(8th from AL) when he could have gotten in argument and lost his championship. (e) [Optional] If you are familiar with Narayana dasa computation, compute dasamsa Narayana dasa and find when this dasa runs. I have not learnt how to calculate and understand Narayana dasa yet, so I am unable to reply on this. Hari om tat sat

You can look at the answers of Solai, Ajit etc to know the correct answers. If one " feels sick " , isn't it an internal matter? One may feel sick and medical tests may not show any sickness and the " feeling " may not rise in the material world. > (6) Being sick and getting treated : It falls under true house. It > falls in 6th house in Rasi chart, and getting treated falls in D-8. If one has sickness formally and gets treated, his feeling of sickness has risen (manifested) in the material world and others can see it. The true feeling of sickness is internal and others cannot see it. But being sick and getting treated can be seen by others. So this is rather shown by arudha. > (7) Boldness: It rises in the material world. It falls in 3rd house > of Rasi and A3 in Rasi Chart. > (8) Weapons: It lives inside native. The true boldness of a person is an internal matter and lives inside one. The weapons one possesses and the attitude one displays are used by the world to gauge one's boldness. These are the things by which boldness manifests physically. > (9) Luck : It is Arudha of A11 in Rasi chart. Thje 11th house shows gains.
