Clarifications on my chart

Namasthe. Below is the my data which I have recently started studying

with the help of SJC audio and books. I have rectified the time based

on the past activities to the best of my understanding.

 

Dec 5, 1960; 05:43:42 pm; 5:30 (East of GMT); 80E37, 16N31;

 

In the chart, I am not clear on the nature of Sun. In D10, sun is the

Lagna lord in the 6th house. However, in the AD of Sun (Maha Dasa of

Mercury), I have given up a very good career to pursue my other

dreams which I was quite sure would not be anywhere close to the

income I had with my previous employment. Though this is not a

decision I regret, but I am curious to know why this has happened in

the AD of Sun;

 

MD of Mercury (till the beginning of AD of Sun) had been very good

though with some hiccups here and there. Exactly at Sun AD, I have

decided to put in my papers purely to pursue my other interests which

are more of aquisition of knowledge than money.

 

Would appreciate if some one can throw light on this.
