At 12:01:57, Bush said " yes " on being asked by Chief Justice if he

was ready to take oath.

 

At 12:02:02, he started reading the statement of oath.

 

At 12:02:27, he finished oath and became the President. Chief Justice

congratulated him.

 

At 12:04:15, he started his inaugural speech (first public activity

as president).

 

At 12:18:38, he finished the speech.

 

Dick Cheney's oath started at 11:56:35 and ended at 11:57:15.
