Guest guest
Jaya Jagannatha Pranaam Sanjay, We seem to have closed on simple misunderstandings on GMT and LMT. Before this topic is closed, I request you to kindly consider the following: (1) If you agree that what should be known as 0:00 am is wrongly known in this age as 6:00 am, what prevents you from thinking that what should be known as 0:00 am is wrongly known as 5:58 am? When people standardized time incorrectly, what makes you think that this standardization was done with an integer number of hours error with respect to the time of sat Yuga? (2) You yourself said that what is called 6 am today is preferred as 0:00 am (start of a day) in Sat yuga because " this would be closest to the sunrise or will mark the rising of the Sun or Brahma Gayatri " . If something close to sunrise is preferred, then why not take the Brahma Gayatri *itself* as the start of the day?! I read your arguments about fixed time, but what is more fixed and permanent than Sun? In summary, I think that you are rejecting Brahma Gayatri as the start of a day (and new hora) simply because of a *perceived* problem at poles. This is simply maya. The true measure of time can only be given by Sun and Moon. The measure of time given by Sun's rising at Brahma Gayatri alone is astrologically significant. You also seem to acknowledge the importance of Brahma Gayatri. With this, I want to close my ontribution to this topic. I pray that I may be forgiven for any mistakes and excesses. I pray to Jagannatha to show Truth to you, me and others. Om Tat Sat Narasimha PS: Thanks to you and Sarat for the lesson on Rahu and Ketu. As I have already written, I accept what you said. The points on Ganesha and Veda Murthis clinch the issue. What you said was highly logical and very convincing. varahamihira , " Sanjay Rath " <srath@v...> wrote: > Jaya Jagannath > Dear Narasimha, > Agreed that the figures were INTEGERS say for 6 AM, but then the Maharishi's also used integers and I was under the impression that I had already explained this aspect when I taught Brahma Vidya. > > In any case, I shall reiterate that the man made time or the time reference for the starting point shall vary according to the Yuga you are in. This is sure to happen as man moves deeper and deeper into the Yuga and its inherent quality beging to manifest. The point is that the quality of time does have an astronomical basis, but not as small as you think like the simple motion of the sun. The Yuga shall determine the overall quality of time that again shall influence the affairs of men to make them change the reference point for the starting of time. > > In Sat Yuga the starting at what is called 6 AM today shall be preferred as this would be closest to the sunrise or will mark the rising of the Sun or Brahma Gayatri. However, in kali Yuga this shall be the KALI GAYATRI or midnight. Thus, no matter how much we break our heads, I don't think I can make the world change this time usage. This only proves that the effect of Kali is very stong on us now. > With Best Wishes, > Sanjay Rath
