Planetary Vedic Mantra Chant Counts (some replies)

Namaste Sri Ramadas Rao,

I understand. All the priests I know do the same too. This custom

based on Vimsottari dasa years is very strong.

I was trying to bring to the attention of learned Jyotishis the

clear recommendation of Parasara in BPHS in the chapter on remedial

measures.

The current custom may have been put in place by a creative priest

who wanted to change Parasara's recommendation a few centuries ago.

IMHO, we should not ignore Parasara.

One may consider doing the MAXIMUM of Vimsottari dasa years and the

number given by Parasara, multiplied by 1000...

OM NAMO NARAYANAYA Dear Chi.Narasimha, Thanks for the mail and I agree with you.But to change the Pariharams as per BPHS,all Purohits have to agree.I have no say in this and I fully agree with BPHS.
