Guest guest
Dear list members, at address http://www.tmjyotish.net/en/program/download you can download the jyotish software that can be used, among other things, for choosing from charts in the directory those which satisfy the given condition. For example, if you want to select all the charts in which Mangal is exalted, you should do the next: 1. Choose Knowledge/Console from the main menu. 2. Choose folder with charts by clicking ... . 3. Write (_exa Ma), with parenthesis, in white text field. 4. Press Sieve. (If you press Execute, in the orange text box would be written yes or no, depending on if Mangal is exaltated in the currently open chart.) 5. A window will open and populate with names of charts in which Mangal is exaltated. By double clicking the item in the list, the chart would be open within the current program session. Other examples: If you want to select the charts in which Rahu is debilitated in rasi chart or Guru is exalted in V-27, enter the following condition: (_or (_deb rh) (_exa gu <v-27>) ) If you want to select the charts in which Shani is in Kark rasi in rasi chart, Budh is in upapada lagna in navamsa chart, and Rahu is in the fourth bhava from Shukra in V-12, you should enter the following condition: (_and (_eq (_ra_of_gr sa) 4) (_eq (_bh_of_gr bd <v-9>) (_aruda 12 <v-9>) ) (_eq (_jy_sh (_bh_of_gr rh <v-12>) 4) (_bh_of_gr sk <v-12>) ) ) etc. There are countless combinations, you can see the functions available for now by clicking Functions. The program can load and process data from Jagannatha Hora (jhd) data files. For any objection, question or suggestion, feel free to write to dz. all the best, Dejan Zoksimovski SJC Serbia
